Can you sell something on ClickBank, and also give it away as a WSO?

Okay, so the story is, I've been working on this ebook that was originally intended to just be a WSO I'd give away for free to build brand awareness. However, the project is really looking like it's going to be a full sized book, and I'm thinking I could probably make some money off it on ClickBank. Is it permissable to charge for something on ClickBank, while also giving it away in a WSO?

Yes. The ONLY rule is that your offer on the WSO forum must be a special offer in that it is better than any other offer you have for that same product elsewhere on the Internet.

So long as you abide by that rule you will be fine.

Getting accepted in Clickbank is very, very easy. What are you talking about?

I would set a lower price for your WSO, why devalue your product and give it away for free?

Well, my objective with the WSO would be to build my list. Can I sell and ask for the opt in at the same time?

That`s ok, but if you offer it to internet marketing niche then somehow the market will now that they can have it for free in the warrior forum and start downloading it for free..

i suggest you create a special offer wheather it is cheaper, or a discount, or anything as long as it`s better offer then the usual offer outside the WF

If you`re product is great ask the buyer and the affiliate in the WF to sell your product too in the Clickbank, maybe they will be interested

    Wish You Luck

You can do that but your Clickbank customers might be a bit pissed when they find out. It could trigger an avalanche of refunds.

You can, in the sense that doing so wouldn't breach either ClickBank's or the Forum's regulations at all.

But if you try it, don't expect (i) many affiliates, or (ii) many happy customers.

How would you feel, as a customer who'd paid, if you found out that was going on?!

Up to you, though: it's your reputation on which your business and career rest.

Thanks. I'm really leaning toward just doing the free WSO now and creating a bigger and better project for ClickBank later. Can I do a WSO that only asks for an e-mail opt in (no pay), even if it's JUST a WSO and not a better version of a paid deal I'm promoting elsewhere?

Yes - there are plenty of those "list-building" WSO's listed.

What you have to decide, in that context, is whether you want to build a list of people who downloaded something free of charge, or a list of buyers who bought something for $1. They're two very different sorts of lists: one is a list of people known to have credit-cards and/or PayPal accounts and both the willingness and the ability to use them online; the other is a mixture of those people and a collection of pure freebie-downloaders, with no way to tell the difference between the two groups. Just a thought.

I would prefer to start with clickbank and after some time I would give it free as a WSO.

The problem here is that if a buyer is also member of the forums would probably pissed off with that, and for a good reason
