Internet business based on Paypal

Many internet marketers sell a product or service where they have paypal as their payment processor. I feel that we should also have other aspects of our business which does not depend on paypal especially after all the horror stories we have come across about paypal accounts being closed in the recent past. Do you have a business whi too uses paypal as a payment processor?

  • I am not having Paypal account. Google will send the payments through the couriers. So, there is no chance to get horrible experience from Paypal. By the way I am not having Paypal account.

You may use MoneyBookers and AlertPay. There are some great alternatives similar to PayPal but some marketers prefer PayPal since it's also preferred by some buyers around the world.

    • Paypal with no alternative for business is probably a bad idea and I still use it <groan>. I vouch every year that I am going to change and in reality I am yet to... Maybe this year.
  • Paypal is the standard for payment processing. You get ability to process credit card with same paypal account.quite flexible Yet risky !
  • I've been using PayPal ever since I started and it's been working perfectly for me. I got my account limited once, when I reached a certain amount of $, they requested some documents, I sent them, boom, problem solved!

It's probably the easiest option to choose. I would use something else, of course, cause they have huge fees, but I don't see any other alternative. I'm sick of having to pay $40 fees for $1,000 payments :/
