What Would You Pay For MRR vs. PLR Articles?

Say there were packs of 10 articles in high-paying niches.

One option was that they were PLR articles - unique, and you could use them/spin them for your own site.

OR...

They are MRR - again, same article and just as unique, but these you could sell yourself.

What would you pay for them to be PLR - and of course, what about MRR?

Lastly, what if MRR rights were only sold to 10 people... would that make you pay more?

Maybe I'm a bit confused... usually the difference between PLR and MRR is that you can edit PLR but you can't edit the content of MRR content. I'm not sure what use I would have for MRR articles.

Ah I had thought PLR you could sell yourself, but MRR you not not only sell yourself, but "sell to others to sell".

As in, PLR... I sell to you, you use.

MRR... I sell to you, you sell to whomever, and use yourself as well.

I could very easily be wrong.

Looks like we need a PLR expert to clear it up then, hm?

Here's another question, what's the most you'd pay for 10 high quality PLR articles?

Looked it up. I was wrong. PLR is when you let people do anything they want with the content. The PLR content can be changed, edited, etc. I'm unsure if it can be resold as their own - though of course if stated it can be, then it can be. As for MRR, it can not be changed. They can use it only how it's written, not edited, etc. I'm sure it's all a lot more in-depth, but that's the basics as far as I know.

As for the question - I wouldn't pay anything for PLR content because I'm not in the market for it.

I think what you were looking for was regular PLR or unrestricted PLR.

Some people do sell PLR that you can pass on rights to, it is normally referred to as unrestricted PLR.

I have seen licenses that run the gamut for what you can and can't do. Often the more liberal the rights the lower the quality and more work required to bring up the quality (perhaps that is a constraint many do not have)

In the original question he mentioned "unique" PLR. I have never found "unique" PLR but perhaps I am just too low on the food chain to have gotten in before an exact Google search of a paragraph return 7000+ hits.

I also would take with a grain of salt a claim of only 10 copies of MMR being sold unless it is a very reputable source.

You just have to sign up for the lists of the writers. I still have packs on my list that have sold under 15 copies and I've checked a few articles to find they still pass copyscape. I assume most of the buyers edit the PLR before posting so it is still unique.

I only buy PLR from a few reputable sellers and I always subscribe to their lists so I can be one of the first to buy a new pack in my niches.

PLR, MRR and Resell rights all vary based on the seller, but here's the most common rules:

    - PLR - You can edit it however you want, put your name on it, use it for yourself, sell it to others (not as PLR), use it in emails, membership sites, newsletters, prints, break it up, put it together into an ebook, etc. etc. What you CAN'T do is pass the PLR rights on to someone else.

    - Resell PLR - This is PLR that you can also sell the PLR rights to. However, you can't sell the resell rights to it. So, you could sell it as PLR, but the buyer can't sell it as PLR.

    - MRR - These are products that you cannot edit. You can brand it yourself, but otherwise can't change anything. You can also sell someone else the rights to sell it - again, no edits allowed.

In general, I've found that people prefer PLR since they can change it as much as they like and they know that only one person is selling the PLR rights to it.

AmandaT is also right. Many PLR buyers either change their content before using it, or never use it at all. You can put an article through Copyscape and, if it comes up unique, use it as is. Of course, that doesn't mean that someone else will later use it as is. I still recommend editing it.

Finally, the only definition I might give you for "unique PLR" is that it is not "resell PLR". In other words, the seller's site is the only place you'll find it being sold as PLR.

Did any of that make sense?

A lot of sense Thank you! So it'd be called just plain ol' PLR or "unique PLR" if I were the only one selling it? Like... if I made a thread and was selling PLR (my own content that others can use and edit), what would or should I call it?

Just simply "PLR" would work, just be sure to include your exact terms somewhere in the thread.

I think Quality Unique content is the best! Why waste time on Plr and Mrr, when you have access to unlimited unique content

Can anyone dispute this point with me?

PLR is cheaper than buying unique content and can be used in so many ways. For instance, I like to use PLR articles as part of an autoresponder series. What benefit do I get by paying for unique content in that case?

PLR is a huge time and money saver.

Quality unique content is certainly unlimited - if you write it yourself or pay someone to write it just for you. If you do, make sure you run it through copyscape. Unfortunately, there are some unethical ghostwriters who will rip you off.

      The benefit of PLR is:

      1. It's much cheaper than paying a ghostwriter
      2. Someone else has done the research for you already (so long as it's a quality site)
      3. You can do whatever you want to it, which means you can make it unique quite easily.

I especially love using PLR both as rough drafts for content and as research for ideas for my own content. Sometimes just reading through a few different packs will give me new ideas for totally different content.

Obviously, I'm a big fan of PLR!
