annonymous banking?

In the post 9/11 world, are you nuts? There is no legal way to get such banking. If there were, don't you think more criminals would be using it?

Traditional bastions of banking secrecy such as Austria and Switzerland don't and can't offer the type of banking that you're implying. Even supposed "off shore" accounts aren't a solid bet; plus the amounts of money required to really get the kind of banking that you're asking about would most likely be well beyond your reach.

As for sending money online without anybody knowing your identity, work it through? There's always a way to trace who you are and where the funds came from -- unless you simply have somebody else make payments or send money on your behalf. But if you're up to no good, even that method is faulty because a link can easily and always be traced right back to you.

The question is, why would you even ask such a question or even feel you need such a service? Creepy.
