Wordpress and sales page

I'm thinking of buying sales page graphics from a company that provides the end result in the form of HTML code.

What I want to know is if I can simply paste this HTML code into a single page of my WordPress site (visa via the HTML editor) and have all the graphics display automatically?

I just don't want to have to muck around with any kind of code.

Sorry for the seemingly stupid question, but I hate to waste money.

    Hi Paul,

Not sure you are aware, but in the Add Page or Add Post dashboard in Wordpress, you have the option to add HTML code instead of visual (In the box where you enter content, look at top right - You will see Visual and Content. Just choose HTML and paste the HTML content).

    Hope this helps.

Well.. if you have all the images and extra files (css?) linked to as URLs then I guess it could work.

    yes you can.

the only extra thing u need to do is to upload the image files..

let's say <img src=/images/sales/1.jpg>, you must upload the 1.jpg image file to your server and place is in the /public_html/images/sales folder

The only thing you need to hope though is that this company doesn't go anywhere fast. If they go out of business or pull down those image files for whatever reason then your graphics are gone too. I would always want to have my own files just for this reason.

i think it's a given that the jpg files will be given to OP to upload to his own server..

i dont know of any designers that will host your jpg for you?

I'll rephrase my reply because the OP did suggest he just wanted to take their HTML and paste it into his WP site.

Yes you can simply paste the HTML links to those images, but if it were myself I'd want to make sure I also have the image files myself. So don't forget to save them to your local machine. If it were me then I'd put them up onto my web server and thus have different HTML links - then I can forget about them, but this goes against the OP wanting to have minimal effort in coding. At least save the images to your local machine..
