Quick traffic tip [Take Two]

Hi all,

A lot of you seemed to benefit form my last 'Quick traffic tip' so I decided to make another thread that expands on my original.

I want to set this one out step by step to help many of you get the benefits of this tip easily.

First I am going to tell you how to put the videos together. I have just put this one together and will tell you how it was done.

OK so first you will need a niche product that sells. For this one I chose http://www.richardmackenziedirect.com/Feminization-Hypnosis.htm but you can choose any.

Next you need to set up an affiliate link for the product. On the site of the product that I chose there are 40 products so I used the script in the affiliates section to make an affiliate link that pointed direct to the sales page of the product that I was promoting. Then I shortened my affiliate link by going to tinyurl.com

Next you need to jot down 50 words or so that describes the product that you are promoting. Remember to use your keywords. For this one my keywords were 'feminization hypnosis'.

Next you will need to take a snap-shot of the products sales page. To do this on a windows machine - go to the products sales page and press F11. Then press Print Screen. After this press F11 again and open Paint. Paste into paint and save as a JPG. Remember where you save this as you will need it in the next step.

Next you need to create you video. For mine I used Windows Movie Maker which came with my XP machine. You will need two images also. I have attached these to make the whole process easier for you and I am allowing you to use them.

Open WMM and import the two pictures that I attached and the one that you just made of the sales page. Place them in the time line in this order - Black - Your picture of the sales page - Arrow. Then play around with the transitions to get the right feel. Then add some music. Now you need to create a Title. In WMM, select 'Make titles or credits'. The select 'Add title on the selected clip in the timeline'. Here you type your keywords or the title of the product that you are promoting. And click 'done'.

At this point play around with all the transitions, music, pictures in the timeline and get it all just right. Then save your new movie to your computer.

Next go to YouTube and sign up for an account. For my example I used my keyword as my username. 'feminizationhypnosis'.

Next upload your new video and fill in all the information YouTube needs on the submission forum. Include the description (from step three above) with your affiliate link in first place. Check out my example above to see how I did this.

That's it for the first bit. Your video should now be live.

Next,

Bookmark your video in as many places in as possible.

Site back and wait... Or do it another 100 times and really enjoy the results!

For those that are really lazy or time poor, but still want to check this out I have also attached my video that you are free to use to promote the feminization hypnosis product at http://www.richardmackenziedirect.com/Feminization-Hypnosis.htm. You will need to write a new description though and I suggest finding a few alternative keywords such as 'hypnotic feminization'.

  You can get a lot of free sounds (not music but sounds like birds chirping, etc) from the Freesound project (I am not able to post the link here, as apparently I do not have rights to post links as I am anewbie) but I guess you can search for it in google or PM me if you do not get it.
  The license is creative commons, so I guess no harm in using it in a video which is not directly sold

Submitted another batch 20 hours ago and already getting traffic from them YouTube - rmdhypno's Channel

The interesting thing is that both sets of videos that I have submitted are promoting the same products.

Thanks for the tip btw.

I have a friend who is getting big in self-development field and his main source of traffic is also YouTube. He made a bunch of free videos, people actually want to pay him to sell them on DVD but he won't as you can download it for free.

Anyway, I decided I was going to record some videos as well, also providing content / value for free.

But I hadn't thought of just making adds.

It's a shame though, my chosen niche is also NLP and Hypnosis.

Maybe there is another hypnosis mp3 affiliate programme?

You can use RichardMacKenzieDirect Hypnosis Downloads just use the rest of the keywords that I haven't used. Actually it won't make too much difference as your videos may get more views than mine

I think it would be a bit rude to try and muscle in after you came up with the idea and taught it to us!

I think I'll try a couple of different variatons to see what works.

It's really bad weather here in the UK, so I'll probably stay in all weekend.

Hmmm staying in rather than going out on a Friday and Saturday night. Warrior Forum is turning me in to an IM nerd!!

I used screen capture to record the visualization feature in Windows Media Player while playing my music. Then I used Movie Maker to add text and transitions and uploaded it to Youtube.

This is where I went wrong... I got lazy and didn't promote it. But - get this! - without any bookmarking or any other promotion it's had 4511 views!

Now you've reminded me how powerful this technique can be and I'm going to do another one, a better video even, and this time I'll promote the hell out of it!

Another tool you might want to look at is animoto.com. This tool creates amazing music videos from your images and music. You can add text messages and upload to youtube and other sites... and it's completely free! I recommend it highly.

I haven't tracked it very well but I do see it as a referral link regularly. My articles get a better CTR but, as I said, I didn't promote this video at all. I think a more targetted approach along with using your arrow technique would definitely produce traffic. And it's there long-term.

  When I view it this morning it had already had a sale (I am the vendor for the product it promotes) and only after 29 visits. Just imagine what it would have sold when it gets 1000 hits. Or iff he promoted all 40 of the products in the same way on that site.
