How I Make Bank With Ticket Sites

Early last year, I started a partner ticket site through a ticket network They hosted the site, provided a generic template, all I did was buy the domain ($8.99). I have since customized the site because it converts a TON better if you do, but at the time I just wanted to test out the niche.

Within a few hours I was making sales and my first commission check for 2 weeks worth of work was about $1200. At first I was posting a couple ads in the Craigslist, Tickets for Sale ---> Dealers section.

I'm not a big fan of Craigslist and try to avoid it at all costs, but it was good for a few quick sales and testing. CL is an absolute circus on the tickets section now, and I don't really want to run a business based on Craigslist anyways.

I've had success with Adwords and other paid advertising platforms as well.

Targeting on Facebook is killing it...

People in this market are hungry from promo codes, discounts, and anything that can help them have a better experience at the concert, football game, Broadway show etc. They also want access to premium tickets that are normally hard to find. If you have a partner site you can create your own promo codes with a percentage or dollar amount off. You can also set an expiration date on any of the codes.

On a good day I will rake in about $250 in sales.

This method isn't anything new, a TON of people are fighting for traffic over at Craigslist with the same generic website. The key here is to find a different promotional method, then it will really start to line your pockets!
