Using Google Places for Online Business

I know that Google has been cracking down on A LOT of things over the past several months. Does anyone have any thoughts on setting up a Google places listing for a 100% online business. It is a travel company, but we are only online.

I know you CAN do it. It could be justified as a central office. Has anyone had any experience with this?

Thanks

I have set up Places listings for a couple of companies that are internet only and had no issues. The thing you really need is a phone number that is traceable to an address. You can sign up by mail but it takes a lot longer (and I have heard that the letters sometimes just dont arrive).

I have done it even with a PO Box... yes it takes around 3-4 weeks if you do it by mail... if you can wait that long, it should be fine..

Do you have an address you can use with the listing? The address can be hidden from users view if you do not want the public to see it.
