    Thats totally True Mate ...

Making money from nothing is actually the hardest part for the business ...
You have to to start from the Zero ... Make some money first and then invest that money to make money ..

But if you have the Money at first hand .. it saves a lot more time .. and increases the Results ..

Well not in IM so far, but did try stock market and made 3 times in 2 months , yes if i had more money then i would have made even more ... so yes if used properly and invested back in to whatever business you are doing, money does make more money ....

I agree with the statement... obviously the more money we make, the more we can pour into marketing and advertising, product development, outsourcing, which leads to more sales.

I've tried bum marketing (remember that craze?) and got little results, but as soon as I started investing some of that small profit back into the business, it grew much faster which allowed me to reinvest more, and continue the cycle.

Pro athletes sure seem to struggle with making a lot of money.

Consistently turning your capital into more capital is hard to do... but it's definitely easier than creating capital from nothing.

    Hey Ruebe,

It's always an interesting question this one like
"It takes money to make money"

Here is what I have found.

    Money Buys Time

Spending money speeds up the results.

You don't need money to make money, it just helps
    the process go 100x faster.

I gotta agree with Nate on this one.... Money makes things move 100000% faster.
think about all the great ideas you have had , and it comes back to having the capital to get it off the ground and the people with more money can usually get ideas into motion alot faster then people without..

Money can surely help you to earn more money...But only if invested smartly.

For eg. I have had some terrible experience with some solo ads. Now Solo Ads are one of the most loved and fastest traffic sources. But if the person you are buying the solo ad has an unresponsive list, even if its a list of 50.000, you are going to repent that transaction .

I have seen people losing a lot of money very quickly, on PPC Ads. PPC ads are amazing, but only if you know your numbers. You have to have a good converting landing page to make the most out of the clicks you are spending money on, otherwise you will just lose your money without any gain.

So never go for paid traffic sources until you are sure and you know what you are getting into!

One of the most efficient use of having some extra money in your pocket is outsourcing. You can always get the tedious and less productive works done by others while you concentrate more on the more productive jobs, thus accelerating your marketing efforts.

So,Yes...Definitely Money can help you bring more Money...But only if you know how to utilize it to the optimum!

        Hope that answers you question.

        Thanks & Regards

I was skimming through the comments and was looking for this answer. Money will make more money only if you do it smartly.

But in general, you can't make money if you don't invest. Either your time and effort or money. However, your time is more valuable than your money.

Actually, you can't make money without investments. If you want to have a simple website you have to pay for the domain and hosting (simple example).

I wouldnt say that its completely true....

Yes once you have money you can use what you do have to leverage new projects and you dont have to worry about it.

Just this week I started another company and i just bought all of the equipment some would say that I spent a lot but i speculate to accumulate...

Dont think because you are skint you wont make money as you have something that a lot of people dont have and that is passion and when your back is against a wall there is only one way out.

    Chin up dude :-)

The problem with not having the money is great ideas that would make money get forgotten because there's no money to implement them. That's why money handled correctly is bound to grow.

I started the "wrong" way, with 0 investment from my own money and it was quite hard. But as I started earning money online, I slowly started to invest them and things started to grow. The good side of this was that I didn't risk any of my real money, only money that I earned online, so I felt safe. Do I regret not investing money from my pocket in the beginning? Not really. I didn't have enough experience back then to do things properly, so probably I would have wasted the money on stuff I didn't need.

Absolutely money makes money. I'll give you one example. I just worked with a developer to build out a new plugin for wordpress (ironically the one in my signature). It cost me $xxx amount to be programmed. So that was money out of my pocket.

Now, my business acumen and research is telling me that I'm filling a very specific need in this space of the market. Will people buy? Sure. Will I exceed my overhead cost of development? I'm fairly sure it will. So to that end, it cost me money, to make me the money. And I'll do it all over again with other ideas as well.

The real gold mines are those areas of knowledge that only you have or have learned, that you can share with those people who are hungry enough to buy what you know. No hard costs associated with that.

    It sure is.

    It's called the "snowball" effect.

If you push it down the hill it grows larger
with no effort on your part.

...but before you can push that snowball
down the hill you need to make one with
    your hands.

    ...that's the hard part.

I would also say, "Don't underestimate
making money from nothing. That, too, is
    an important skill to have".

Of course. If you invest money that can generate profit, you will get far more than you invested.

    Common sense applies here.

Money makes money except if you invest it in shiny objects..

When you don't have any money, it is hard, but as we all know, it's not impossible.

To be honest, my list is the most important part of my IM business so I invest in Solo ads, this produces more prospects to my list which in turn produces more revenue from my list to buy more solo ads..etc

If you are clever, you can optimise your sales funnel to cover the cost of the solo ads.

I agree in the fact that more money can make money faster. I've seen a lot of money that didn't make ANY money at all because it wasn't being used properly. If you have some money to invest, it can really accelerate your success if every dollar is well spent. For instance, when I first got started I focused on free traffic. This meant writing articles, building sites, building backlinks etc. There was a lot of time put in for the return I started to see months later. Once I had some cash flow, however, I was able to accelerate my results. The number of subscribers that took me 3 months to get with SEO, I was now able to get within a matter of days with a few quality solo ads and media buys.

You can definnitely START a business with limited or no money at all, plently of people here have done it. If you truly want to GROW your business you need to start spending some money. That's when the fun starts!
