Hey,

There is some weird **** going on with my website. It works perfectly when i type in the URL in my browser, but when i try to click it through Google search, i'm redirected to some weird websites (including adult ones).

Do you know a solution?

* It's a .info website
* I would contact Google directly, but i don't want to get my website on their radar, if you know what i mean. They hate Internet Marketers.

King regards,
Andrii

    Your website's been hijacked (probably).

    This would be a good place to start learning something new:

    Wow -- so sorry to hear that. Who's your hosting company?

    It could be possible that you have a virus on your computer friend. did you run a scan yet? You are looking to remove spyware or malware, should work..

      Of course that's a possibility, too. The OP hasn't been descriptive enough for the rest of us to eliminate possibilities and then narrow it down. It could be as simple as the browser is being hijacked, there could be malware on the OP's computer, his website has been hijacked, etc.

      However the first two I've outlined could be easily eliminated if the events he describes happens all the time (and not just with his website). If it happens only with his website, then it's safe to say that his code has been compromised.

      If the OP has a backup of his site (say if he used Dreamweaver and had a hard copy there) he could simply upload the site again and try that. If there was something changed it would be eliminated and the site should work as usual. This will not prevent it from happening again, of course.

      It's a huge topic/subject to cover, but his best bet is to first contact his host provider which he has named. Then do a little research and see what pertains to his situation specifically and then go from there. It's hard to be a backseat driver here without all the facts.

    I am sorry that I do not. Perhaps you want to build a new site.

    Have you contacted Hostgator about the hijacking? What's their response? Did you have a look at the 25-year-experienced programmer's info? Does that look helpful?

      Well, they told me, to my surprise, that my main domain has expired 2 days ago (i didn't notice that) and that's why the results. Right now i'm changing it.
