Random Fiverr question: what are the general rules on vids?

This is going to sound freaking nuts: I am Gender A biologically, freaking hate it, and am Gender B online. (that's why I work online, dammit!) Problem with doing Fiverr vids is that I don't want to have to put my annoying Gender A biological crap on the web.

My real question:

Would fiverr accept vids something like , and then I get a Gender B friend/lackey to do the voice over? The hands not matching doesn't bug me that much and with the exception of distinct voices, people won't notice a voice over person the way they'd notice a freaking face.

Would it be incredibly unethical to just hire a Gender B person and have them 'pretend to be my biological face'? Where would I get someone like that for cheap?

Any other tips I can do for getting the 'Fiverr likes bids, I like to be referred to as Gender B and putting a live vid up would ruin that'?

I'm doing Fiverr right now for 2 reasons: one, I reviewed a Fiverr WSO for MynasEric and liked it. The other reason is because I could use a bit of random cash while my business partner works on their end of what we're doing offline. (For my offline business, the 'face' everyone sees is that person because I don't want to put up with "hi gender A...")

In all honesty, reading your post (twice) I'm still confused. However, if my instincts are correct, what I will offer is this:

I believe that you can do whatever you feel is necessary to maintain your privacy. If you feel you might need to hire a "double" so that appendages match, then do so (though keep in mind such hiring would cut into your profits so factor that in).

The line you have to draw for yourself is simply this:

As long as you're delivering the gig that you promise (and to the specifications that you're promising), why should there be a problem as to who's doing what or what's showing?

P.S. -- Obviously I can't speak for Fiverr, but the video you have should be accepted. Usually they harp mostly on references to other sites, alternate ways to communicate with you other than through Fiverr, and so on. The other thing I can think of is if you want to use this video as a demo on your page, there are time constraints. I don't know off the top of my head if your video is too long or not. You might want to check that out yourself as I couldn't find anything in their TOS (even though I know from experience that they do have limitations on videos which they usually advise you of when you're about to upload).

  • I'm thoroughly confused, but never mind.

Let's address your underlying yet unstated assumption: That you have to appear on camera in a gig video. (You are talking about gig videos, right?)

    You don't.

I have gotten dozens of gig videos approved without appearing on camera.

    And in answer to this:

Would it be incredibly unethical to just hire a Gender B person and have them 'pretend to be my biological face'? Where would I get someone like that for cheap?

    Is this a trick question?

I have alot of articles out there under different names. Nick Savage Nick W. Savage Nicky Savage and go on and on. Its because I can not write articles, if you go to ezine you will see I am an expert author over and over but never picked up that pen.

That's my first analogy now for the second. I have a type A personality. I get kicked alot from forums, piss people off and so forth, only because my mouth overloads my brain.

So there is two of us, Me and a partner. We actually had a website up called JekyllnHyde
I think he still owns it. He was the nice guy and I did my thing. I always try to have a partner who is level headed, it helps alot and sometimes I do hire people opposite me, well I almost always do.

Sorry had to leave for a second. Now for the last. Alot of times I will find someone to play the other gender too. Things work differently for different people and I try to adapt to it as it comes up. Women sometimes have an easier time in places than men, and sometimes men have an easier time than women. Play everything you can to your advantage.
