Want to Create a squeeze page

I want to change my site from a blog into a squeeze page where I give free reports from PLR products to collect contact information.

So what do you guys use to create your squeeze page?

I don't think wordpress is suitable since all the themes contain site bars and all that blogging stuff.

Do you use HTML editor like NVU or dreamweaver? Or joomla?

You can use Wordpress and install a squeeze page theme. The best ones I know are OptimizePress and Premise for Wordpress (go to CopyBlogger.com to see it). Premise works with different Wordpress themes. I haven't tried it, but it looks really promising and comes from someone extremely reputable.

For a straight html page, I just use Kompozer. However, if you're not for technically savvy (like me) it's tough to make something nice looking. You can always buy some PLR that comes with the sales pages, but you'll still need to know how to edit and ftp them properly.

Personally, I'd go for the Wordpress options. I'm definitely planning on trying one of them out.

Best thing to do is to purchase Optimizepress... it was designed and develped by james dyson... Optimize press, has landing pages/squeeze pages templates already set up, you can add various buttons etc, and the most important part is that those templates are "built to convert" .... the beauty of optimize press is that you can buld sales pages, blogs, squeeze pages, forums membership sites awesome stuff !!!!!!

you dont even need t worry about being technical ... just a number of clicks follow the training videos provided when you purchase it bhammmmmmm .... you wont hardly ever use NVU or dreamweaver again only if you choose to that is ...

Dude you need to go with optimizepress. I put off getting it for a long time, but the numbers don't lie. My optin rates are better, conversions are better, I love it. If you choose not to though you can get away with some free landing pages that are just html. I wouldn't get rid of your blog though if you have put a lot of effort and content into it. Just set up your squeeze page/pages on a separate page or directory within your site.

    This is a great squeeze page generator I use;
    MMI Squeeze Page Generator

It also has a download page generator!

One thing to note, is the field where it says "aweber code"
you can put ANY html autoresponder code in there.

    Hope this helps!

I agree with Tech19. OptimizePress installed on Wordpress is great.

    Otherwise, you may outsource it.

But yeah, optimzepress works like a charm.

I can make my own squeeze page too using the headway theme.

Do not try to change your entire wp design. Just change it to suit your squeeze page as warriors above said.

Traditional squeeze pages are not necessary. You can do anything you need right inside aweber.

No themes, no nothing. Just enter the javascript from aweber into a page, make that your static homepage.

I use this tool called Yahoo Sitebuilder. They give you templates but you can easily create a squeeze page using a blank slate. Adding HTML code is easy, changing the background is easy, and all you really need is the text to create your squeeze page. Then upload it to your website using the "publish" button on the software.
