Hi everyone,

I'm big user of retweet sites and get lots of good results from them. Here is my list of 5 favorites retweet websites that bring in great traffic from Twitter:
  • JustRetweet.com: This is another great retweet site owned by a friend of mine. I find it an interesting platform for bloggers. Supports simple tweets, blog rss tweets, website views, twitter follower exchange
  • Retweet.it: Here is my third on the list. It was recently on flippa for $100k but did not find luck. Supports simple tweets
  • Traffup.net: Another great retweet site. I used to be on it frequently until lately when they did some crazy updates that get my tweets disabled for no reason. Supports simple tweets, website views, twitter follower exchange
  • AdRetweet.com: another source of retweets. Supports simple tweets
There are many retweets sites there but these are on the top of my list and are giving me great results. All sites are free/paid but you can do well with the free option

  • "Not because it's my project, but because of the results I get. "

So does that mean it IS yours?

You do know how that makes people suspicious of the value of your post when you start a thread and the first thing you say is how good your own tool/system is?

It stopped me reading past that point in your post.

    • Ok I removed that statement if that's what you think Andy. It's just 1 out of 5 so I don't see why people should get suspicious.
  • I don't see any value in retweet sites, it's just a bunch of people spamming each others followers. Your real followers will hit the 'unfollow' button and you'll be left with a bunch of bots following you.

Because your post is misleading and you're trying to drive traffic to your own website?

    • Hi Dan,

It's like you are saying you don't see any value in retweet. These sites don't auto-retweet. You decide what to retweet based on what you think is targeted to your followers. Your followers don't care to know where you retweet from. They are more concerned about the content of the tweet not the source app of the retweet.
    • I realize this is an old post, but it should be addressed...Just because someone doesn't seen any value in a method doesn't mean there isn't value.

For example, Youtube (therefore Google too to some extent) factors in how many times a video is viewed into their rankings. Instead of using some view-increase software, tweets and retweets can be an excellent way to increase Youtube video views in a 100% legit manner.
  • I was actually looking for something like this. There is SEO benefit in retweets, because it's not just links from Twitter, it's links from Twitter directories who tell people what's "trending" on Twitter. I have twenty thousand followers on one account, and I'm following twenty thousand. Every once in a while, I'll look at my dashboard while I'm tweeting something, and see something worth clicking on. That's how it works, most of them aren't robots.
  • A Retweet by any crappy account simply won't do. However, if you get Retweets by accounts with followers and have been around a while it is very POWERFUL.

I'm getting very similar results from what this guy saw on his case study over at Twitter Backlinks | Retweet Service | Buy Retweets

    • Tune, how does twitterbacklinks justify the source of their retweets as Twitter is against direct says of tweet action

  • Retweeting works pretty well- I dont use any site but I have several accounts in the same niche- I will retweet a tweet from account 1. On several others and traffic will result- social proof seems to be the reason- just gives your tweet extra cred.
  • It's one of those things, you might get a massive stampede of a million visitors, but unless they are targeted, it's fairly pointless.

Reminds me of the time I caused a stampede to my site by saying "Miley Cyrus nipple slip - Hot *insert URL* and got a few hundred thousand visitors as it got retweeted everywhere.

I reckon some people sell websites based on that tactic alone

    • Agree. It is all about targeted traffic of people who want what you are offering.

I would rather have a list of 1000 people who buy 50-100% of the time than a list of 50,000 who only convert at .01%.

The smaller list costs me less to maintain AND was faster to get.
    • I disagree, have that traffic targeted to a blog network of your own, and boom with 10,000 unique clicks with a low bounce rate = pro seo. Most people are so focused on getting back links that they do no see the value of unique clicks. Unique visitors = pro seo.

Now your going to talk about targeted and not targeted, that's why you direct them to a blog network. Where you have articles on all major topics. And you want to know how to get your squeeze page to an easy rank, get 50 of your own personal blogs, most of mine now are pr 2 or above (all on different ip hosts).
  • retweets are counted by google for SEO... so it can only be good for the long term

    • Well, then it works great. Long term is a great word

  • I've tried one of these sites (JustRetweet) and it works well in my experience. There are some well known bloggers that use the site, so if you get them to retweet your content, you will see some decent traffic from it.

You have to be promoting good, interesting content though...not just random crap.

    • adretweet.com and retweet.org i use daily and i get very good results... BTW it's free and it's not waste of time at all, so just go for it...
  • Whats so great about them? people that have fake accounts and tweet ?

Yeah so great really , what a waste of time.
  • You don't use these if you have a fake account. I've used some of those platforms on my on twitter and my business page. It's good because it helps get your name out there a bit more and it's an alternative platform for Twitter that can span other markets.
  • There was another post I read earlier that mentioned RT sites and I must have been living in a hole as I wasn't aware of them. I'll definitely have to check them out now.
  • I'm interested in learning more about how I can set up automatic retweets. If that is what this is about I don't mind getting this info.
  • i never tried any of these, i will give it a shot!
