Ok. I was lucky enough to get in at the beginning of a wso. I have my links embedded in about a hundred targeted articles. Great for list building, etc. I am promoting an asthma product this way, direct linking to the product page. I have 550 hops, 65 order form impressions (clicked to the buy it now page), but no sales. Maybe I could do more pre-sell, but don't these numbers seem odd? Any experience or advice out there. Thanks to all.

Those numbers don't seem odd at all for a low-quality campaign. Please don't misunderstand - I'm not trying to insult you here. I'm just trying to answer your question honestly.

Direct linking to a product page from your article resource boxes is not considered an effective way to go about things. You will almost always see better results with landing pages.

No ... not at all, John.

I think Social Media Marketing is more best and suitable for you consider that as your priority I would say. I think you should find better resources for your niche and build effective campaigns. It is very important to let the people decide how best your products is.

The generally accepted way for the best results is to link your article resource box to a review page on your website, then link that to the product page. Try it and see what results that gives you.

Alexa - I have spent the better part of 4 hours reading your posts; the criteria 'list of ten', the cauliflower story, and so much more. Quite an education. I don't believe any links to promote yourself or sites - you are a goddess. Thank you for what you give to this forum. Tried to PM, but not enough posts. Would you consider pm'ing me a link to one of your sites? If not, I understand. Thanks again.

Welcome to the club of the exasperated. Clickbank stats can vary wildly. As stated before the campaign that you're promoting might not be as great as the stats tell. I would personally start looking at another Clickbank product or better yet take the plunge.

Become an owner and not a promoter. I mean you just got an education on marketing 101. If you can direct the efforts that you did to promote a product that didn't produce sales into your own product. Think about it. Create your own product, put it on Clickbank and then find affiliates to promote it. You will have the force with you on this.

Hey just a suggestion but you are on the right track.
