Please help me, I'm new to the IM game yet feel so screwed already
After an offline business venture of mine pretty much failed, I saw the potential and opportunity present in the whole IM field. I just decided this month to give a shot at it, and started studying left and right in order to learn a bit of HTML and Dreamweaver, and am currently trying to become versed in SEO and how to run an IM business.
My two ideas are that I would want to try and have a few blogs on the right topics, and with enough visibility, to make me a small steady income through Adsense, and also, to create myself an Info product that I could sell through a webpage I've made, and cash in through Paypal.
Now the past few days I've been brushing up on the recent history of Paypal and Adsense, and I feel very discouraged about both plans. It seems that with both I'm at the end of a difficult dilemma.
Google seems to be quite brutal with its whole Adsense thing in that many thousands of people seemed to have been banned from Adsense with no reason whatsoever in the past two years, and whats worse is that seemingly there was no warning from Google, or no proper way to redress their banning, its just that they were banned and if they were innocent in their own eyes then its not Google's problem. As you can see if I'm going to be relying on a bunch of Adsensed blogs as a form of regular income, it seems that one day the rug will be pulled from under my feet and I'm be left with nothing with no way to get it back. I hear that once you've been banned you're out of it for life. That scares the living crap out of me. I've seen some very sorry and sad looking folks posting things up on their youtube about how Adsense just stiffed them and they were sure they didn't do anything wrong.
The same thing seems to be going with Paypal, as I've read so many stories of people's funds being appropriated for 180 day without due process, and without way to redress this. If Paypal wants to trip on you it can and will and take all your money in your account away. It seems as though Paypal is really out to get the Internet Marketer and especially the one's who are marketing Info products. Now if I'm going to be selling an Info product how can I feel secure in doing business when it seems that the merchant is almost always disadvantaged in every way?
It seems as though both Google and Adsense just seem to like behaving terribly to random people and this kind of scares me who is just trying to get into the game.
I'd appreciate everyone's thoughts. I hope maybe I could learn from the experience of the folks here on Warrior.
