I am sure there's a lot of investors watching this closely. It's expected to be set for the third week in May, and some reports say it will be one of the largest IPOs - over $10 billion. The largest ever I believe was Google in 2004 with $23 billion. Stocks went from $85 and shot up just three years later to $700. So, who's in?

It is not over rated , for the simple reason facebook has a 800 million people list and a huge chuck which BUYS stuff from FB games to other stuff.,... Google just had market share for search and was valued so high so this should be a bigger beast ... and of course google adding more value to social media its gained more weightage than ever ..

They said the same about Myspace, granted Facebook does have companies backing it so hard I doubt it'll ever fall off the map like Myspace did. Google at least provides real long term value.

MySpace went wrong by catering to tweenies. FaceBook always aimed at adults.... and educated ones at that.

Every business in the world wants to stick their flag on some FaceBook property. My prediction is that a FaceBook IPO would be the largest in history and Mark is on his way to Bill Gates level of riches.

I wonder whether it will be a good investment. I'm not sure who is or isn't already aware of this, but Facebook is not a profitable business as it currently stands. They're losing money, and I don't know what their plan is to turn that around. I also don't understand enough about investing to know whether that matters. :p
