IM Really Works! Made $1680 This Week!!!

Hey friends, from last few weeks, I was just reading this forum and adding more skills to my IM stuff. Although, I keep trying new methods to make money and I am successful in them too but this time I tried my hands on social networking.

Facebook is always my favorite website because it has both: Fun & Money

Few days back, I made a new account on Facebook and did everything to add friends. After 20 days I could make only few friends. I tried selling them CPA offers but it didn't work. I tried adding some female friends and then I offered dating stuff to them but soon I started losing them.

I went to Fiverr.com and found some awesome Facebook services. I thought I could easily create a FB fan page and buy likes and sell stuff to my fans. I paid $10 for this work to someone but soon I found that all of those LIKES were from the accounts made by the vendor and I didn't made anything. I learnt that you can sell stuff to only genuine FB fans.

I was totally discouraged and thought that I wouldn't pay anything now. I started spending some more time on finding free stuff only. I found such a great combination of free things that it changed everything. Using this method, in first week I made only $40, in second week I made $368 and this week I made $1680. Here is how:

About a month ago, while I was searching for 'make money with Facebook', I found this website:
Make Money With Facebook - $500 Everyday on Complete Autopilot! (No Opt-In Required)(No Affiliate Link)

The method was really interesting so I decided to give it a go. Following the method mentioned in the e-book, I quickly got 2200+ friends in 8 days. But instead of making a fan page (as suggested in the ebook), I tried something different, which worked even faster than the e-book result.

After I had few thousands friends, I thought about selling them some Clickbank products. I went to Clickbank and selected an e-book on 'Acne' to promote. There are thousands of e-books there. Because most of the people on Facebook are young so that was a perfect topic to talk about. There was one problem. I didn't have any information on this topic. So, I visited this website to collect information on 'Acne':
Free Articles Directory | Submit Articles - ArticlesBase.com

After I had enough information, I wrote one article on Acne and inserted link to my Clickbank product at the end of the article and converted it into PDF file. I used this website to convert .doc file to .pdf
Convert Word to PDF / DOC to PDF and PDF to Word online for free.

Now, I had a PDF file to share with Facebook friends which had my affiliate link in it. I did some more search over the internet and found this awesome application to share PDF files directly on Facebook.
Share PDF Document | Facebook

Using this application, I uploaded PDF file on Facebook and it was posted on my profile immediately! On the same day, I got 63 hits and 1 sale on Clickbank which made me $25.65. Next day, I deleted that post from Facebook and then uploaded the PDF again on a different time. On that day, I got 2 sales from just 76 hits.

Thereafter, I started exploring new CB niches to make even more. I do it on regular basis now. Now, I share a new PDF daily on a new niche with a new CB product and easily make around $150-$200 per day on Clickbank. You can easily make this money too even you can scale it up and make even more money. But your first step is creating a Facebook account and adding friends

After all, it's all about taking action, right? If you've any ideas please share.

Thanks

My only question is around the legality of using the Sagaweb software to generate an email list?
Isn't this crossing the spam line?

          Yes I do.

It's an interesting eBook and certainly food for thought, but unless I'm reading it wrong it essentially gives this advice:

1 - Setup a fake profile on Facebook, pretending to be a young woman.
2 - Use this software to generate thousands of email addresses
3 - Use those addresses to SPAM people under the fake Facebook profile
4 - Eventually get enough followers to setup a fan page
5 - Sell affiliate products through the fan page

Steps 1 and 3 seem to be the sort of things you'd read about on one of those forums where the users wear dark-colored headgear. I'm surprised to see it being advocated here.

Ethically, is this any different than just mailing affiliate offers to the thousands of unsolicited e-mail addresses?

Very well done. And you made a very valid point that I think many newbies miss on here....it takes action.

You have got to do something.

You stated you did a few things that didn't really work and you kept looking and trying and researching and working....

In other words, you didn't just try one or two things and then quit.

Then once you find something that works, you scale it up.

Very good job and good for you. Keep up the good work.

Quick question, I read that ebook also and have been taking action on it step by step, however I'm in day 4 now and I have very little friends accepting my requests.

Did you use the email generator? If so, how many did you import on a day to day basis? PM if you can.

Nonetheless, great job with your earnings once again!

I definitely would not use it, unless you had multiple Facebook accounts set up and didn't care if one got banned. That's definitely spamming. Just like the Craigslist lead scraper/emailer that was going around a while back. Tons of people lost their CL accounts and the email accounts they used to send the emails to the CL posters. I wouldn't do it. spamming is intolerable and it's wrong and you don't need to do it to make lots of money online.

If action doesn´t pay, what else is going to pay you?

Many newbies make the mistake and try do do everything on their own. Well, that´s pretty much one of the worst things you can do if you just enter a niche, especially if your goal is to succeed as fast as possible.

People who try everything by themselves need a lot longer to learn things than people who work PROVEN SYSTEMS.

I think you should work a proven system under the following circumstances:

-Work a proven system when you are new into something

-Work a proven system when you are not the creator type of person

-Work a proven system when you can´t waste time with making money because you urgently need it.

-Work a proven system when you can do that for a reasonable cost.

-Work a proven system when your skills embrace it.

Understanding your strengths, and situations should make making your decision clearer.

Congratulations on earning so much! I hope this serves as an inspiration to every new online marketer out there that it is indeed possible to make a decent amount of money online, if you are smart about it.

Also, having said that, adding large numbers of random people does come under the broad category of spamming. I thought 'real' people on Facebook don't add random people any more? What was the name of your profile?

How would you say using a Facebook profile rather than a Facebook page affects your results?

    Good read I enjoyed it.

The software (email address generator) adds some sort of "moral dilemma"
but if you find some morally acceptable alternative, then the strategy is
    excellent.

    Here's an example.

The strategy in the PDF promises $500 per day in 30 days. Based on
what I read, it's possible. However, I think the strategy with the software
is a bit on the dark side of the force.

So if you want your conscience clear, why not make an investment and
buy SOLO Ads - some of which you can get for $25 per 100 clicks.

It will require a big investment but it's legal, morally acceptable and you
    can sleep peacefully at night.

Just think of the return in investment if this is a success - $500 per day.

You can also take the "slow boat to China" by going through online communities
making contributions and making friends with people.

However, the goal doesn't change. Get 5000 friends, build a fan page and
get 50,000 likes. When you get there then we will see if $500 per day is
    a reality...

Don't know it yet because I haven't tried it me self.

To the OP how many did you invite per day? Because facebook easily bans accounts that try and invite too many friends at once. I think even over 50 can get you banned, they have people with board posts listing their emails to be added so this is nothing new. I can't help but feel like the ebook is just trying to get subscribers and people to buy his email generator, but if you're not him and are making money from the material awesome.

As for me, I search for group like "add friends","add more facebook friends" etc. Those group have tons of people asking for friend request.

I add a few friends there, once I get the warning, I stop adding friends and post on the group wall asking for friend request.

Here's how you could double your efforts before you start advertising anything. Post some mouth watering information on your wall for your existing members. Give away good stuff I have nearly 400 members just doing that (it took forever) but the post goes out to existing members and their fans see it and if the info is good enough believe me they too will like your page. just post one thing a day while you're doing your additions.

I think the pdf idea is excellent. Once you want to start earning you could sprinkle pdf's in with your mouth watering posts and put an ad at the bottom. It's non-evasive advertising and it works..... but why stop at facebook once you have these pdf's made submit them to free ebook directories, doc sites, etc you could even set up a blog for each one ping them.

however having said all this, I tend to agree with what the gentleman said in the following blurb. Make your facebook page and marketing NON-SPAMMY or you'll pay in the end.

Read this: (doesn't anybody have an issue with this?)

      Yes I do.

It's an interesting eBook and certainly food for thought, but unless I'm reading it wrong it essentially gives this advice:

So, first of all - congrats.

2nd...this seems like a real miracle that you have been able to consistently add so many friends so quickly. I don't see this as a long term business model, but it could be looked at as a way to earn capital to put into something more sustaining.

You should think about that, because the smallest little change or flip of a switch could possibly send this into a tailspin.

But...also -- it's devising could probably be used in other ways as well

      Hi StepAhead,

Thanks for posting about this. I've put off joining Facebook for a long time but after reading your post and downloading the free ebook (which is very helpful for a facebook first-timer), I finally took action and set up an account.

I haven't tried sending the emails yet because I'm none too comfortable with that idea, but interestingly, Facebook provides the means for members to send out mass emails and they even provide an example of what the email will look like with their logo on it!

But it looks like my personal email address will be on the emails and don't want to be blacklisted as a spammer. QUESTION: Will my email address actually show up on the emails or will they be seen as coming from Facebook?

What also bothers me is this:

"I did some more search over the internet and found this awesome application to share PDF files directly on Facebook. Share PDF Document | Facebook"

Before being able to use the app, you have to give permission for several things, and that didn't sit well with me. E.G. "Post to Facebook as me. Share PDF Document may post status messages, notes, photos and videos on my behalf." I wonder how you felt about that?

A QUESTION about "Using this application, I uploaded PDF file on Facebook and it was posted on my profile immediately! " Where does this go on your profile?

      Thanks!

I did it with my facebook account earlier (another one). However, I get some people who I don't want to. For example, I will be targeting Usa, Ca, Aus and Uk. I don't need somebody that's from Israel, India, Brazil, etc. Most of those profiles that are in "add me" groups are fake and need to promote something so you if you join them, you won't be having some success in promoting as your audience isn't that one you need.

Edit: I just logged in on facebook and I got blocked for 7 days from sending friend requests. -.-

Yes, the days of adding thousands of friends to your account is over. I'm surprised there are ebooks (in 2012) still advocating such method.

Yeah, the question of adding thousands of friends in such a short span of time violates TOC of FB but you can always try your luck.

I have to admit that I am having extremely difficult time believing the claim made in the original post.

Actually, I don't believe it at all.

It appears to me that the original post is a "somewhat" clever attempt to sell the software needed to implement this idea. But I can bet that there will be a few who will fall for it... greed is such a bad adviser.

IF ONLY THIS WOULD BE TRUE!!!

OK people the OP is the owner of the Acute ID software. This is an elaborate technique to sell us the soft.

    How i know?

DO a whois search on sagawebs.com and INCOMEXP.COM they have the same owner.

incomexp.com is where the actual ebook is being distributed by direct download. No RS downloads.

So, nor OP or Adam from UK are real. SO now you cant trust that if you buy the soft you will actually make the money they claim!
I heard of FB accounts being banned for this!
    Who knows?

I just wanted to let everyone know that there was more to the original post than it seemed!

    Be careful!

That's what I was about to say.

The technique was posted way back in the Make Money Online section. I've tried it myself, and got burned.

The OP is probably using it as link bait.

But we can never really know. If it really worked for the OP, I'm happy for you.

I think the concerns that have been raised about this method are firstly based around the ability to add that many Facebook friends in such a short time frame without your account being shut down.

Secondly, the ethics of using that software to add users on Facebook. It appears to be walking the 'spam' line pretty tightly.

I don't doubt that the method may work, but those were my initial thoughts and concerns?

Well, you can add as many friends as you want using this method and there is no doubt. FB hasn't sent me any warning yet!

If it's spamming then what's the difference in adding friends manually and this method? Do adding unknown friends manually legitimate? If yes, then how this method can be said' spamming', just because it's automated

And how do you explain the sagawebs.com and incomexp.com having the same DNS server if you do a whois?

This implies that the domain owner of the email list generation software and the domain owner of the the site the ebook is hosted on are the same?

Well, I am not trying the support or making any statement here. But here are few possibilities:

            1. May be they are using shared hosting from same company and they've files hosted on same server. There may be hundreds of other sites being hosted on same server but it doesn't mean they belong to each other, right?
            2. May be the author built the website and recommended the software in good faith but later on software company bought author's site?

    From Facebook's TOS:

    Registration and Account Security

Facebook users provide their real names and information, and we need your help to keep it that way. Here are some commitments you make to us relating to registering and maintaining the security of your account:

    - You will not provide any false personal information on Facebook, or create an account for anyone other than yourself without permission.

    - You will not create more than one personal profile.

    - You will not use your personal profile for your own commercial gain (such as selling your status update to an advertiser).

Yup. This strategy seems to be breaching all of those!
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[5511849].message }}

The first two are not as benign as they appear. FB doesn't want fake accounts or multiple account holders for only one reason.

Accurate marketing demographics for their advertisers plain and simple.

They just call it registration and account security because they can't call it, Marketing demographic registration.

Also I'm not saying that this method is right or wrong but how the emails are being gathered is a little questionable. However its not the user sending the spam its Facebook who does all the work on that end once you upload the CSV file.

Personally I've been online for 16 years! I could import at minimum 3500 contacts alone, some people I don't even know, they just ended up on my contact list for one reason or another, is FB gonna tell my I don't know these people? I don't think so.

So, I downloaded the ebook and I have to say I am not a fan. It's sketchy and I am sure it violates Facebooks rules. It's essentially black hat social media marketing.

True social media success is about building relationships. The shortcuts can provide short term gains, but slow and steady wins the race.

    Use at your own risk.

You have the purchase a non-refundable Email Production Software before you can make it work. After you purchase the software, the method won't work. It's considered a spam, especially after the new Facebook security updates.

It's only a few bucks, but still... let me save you all the troubles of learning from that mistake.

    Thanks
Something just didn't feel right with this post. After going back ad re-reading it, it's kind of obvious that he had a hard time keeping his "facts" straight.

    99.9% chance it's self-promotional.
