Where to find affiliates?

ClickBank isn't really much of "a way to acquire affiliates", Rob. It's just a retailer with built-in affiliate payment handling facilities. You still have to promote your product to affiliates, to find them, when you list it there.

The commission percentage will typically be about 6th or 7th on the list of about ten things that serious, professional affiliates look at. The important things are to have a non-leaky sales page without obvious hype or illegal/unethical claims, which affiliates will think will have a decent conversion-rate of their traffic, and are willing to test it. Quality of the product itself is pretty important, too, unsurprisingly. Bear in mind that by selecting your product to promote, affiliates are attaching to it their own reputation and credibility (their business's most valued asset?) with their customers/subscribers. ("Affiliate gimmicks" like banners, and stuff, are probably not on the list at all, or possibly in 10th place out of ten considerations - for serious affiliates).

You don't really look for them. They are the one who will find you. That's why whatever affiliate product or service you have out there, you need to build the right exposure around it so it won't be so hard for others to find your opportunity.
