how do i get affiliates ?

I wrote a book about affiliates tips & tricks. Actually one of my friend just join affiliate market. he asked me about affiliate tips & tricks that's why i wrote a book

now I want to sell my book & tell me how do i get affiliates :confused:

Its a very cheap product price only $10 & earn 50% every sells.

i dont know any tips for getting affiliates

do you think that I increase price & sell percentage for attract more affiliates.

plz help with you suggestion.

    OK, I have to ask...

    You wrote a book about "affiliates tips & tricks" and are now asking how to get affiliates?

    Seriously, isn't that like writing a cookbook about beef but not knowing where to buy steak?

    And also:

    1 - Maybe that's part of the problem - a 5 dollar commission doesn't attract many affiliates.

    2 - I certainly hope that you had a proofreader!

    I'd mention the obvious places like ClickBank and PayDotCom, but as the author of a book for affiliates I'm sure you are already well aware of those places.

    One other thing as well - there are hundreds of books out about affiliate marketing. Unless there is something special about yours you are fighting an uphill battle.

    Sign up for Clickbank.com and Paydotcom.com. You will get affiliates automatically and immediately. Then create an affiliate signup page, and submit it to the top 20 affiliate directories. People go here to search for all sorts of affiliate products to promote.

    Send it to your list (if you have one)

    Try getting some upsells on the products for a bigger incentive for affiliates to join you.
    $5 doesn't sound appetizing. People do things to get a positive return for themselves (WITFM - What's in it for me). Once you get in the mindset of your affiliates, things will start to seem easier.

    You can list your product in clickbank, paydotcom and wso

    Prepare some tools for your affiliates to help them to promote your product (ie: sample email, banners (different sizes), product reviews...)

    thanks to all. actually i want to start a member site. where people join with a small fees. that's why i keep price low. so everybody join without any hesitation. to start their affiliate business.

    For me to get more affiliates you have to give a percentage slightly higher than 50%, for example 65% :-) also you gain visibility, sign up for important affiliate portals.

    why dont you try to do a few media deals, buy a few spots and see how your book sells? that way you'll have some ideas about the book's selling potential and about the type of traffic you need, if it goes well the affiliates part should be much easier.

    Bill is right, you'll have a tough time getting affiliates for this product.

    The price point is to low, and there are no upsells...when finding affiliates, the bottom line is what matters to them. It can be a full time job altogether attracting them...and you must have rock solid evidence your product converts.

    Maybe get some feedback, develop your product a little more, and create a bigger package that will satisfy your customers and affiliates alike.
