Newbie needs your expert advice and suggestions in IM

depends what software you are using to show you are getting 80 - 120 visit per day. some will include spiders, ect so could be less than half could be real human visitors.

The other thing is depending what niche your website is in could determine whats the ebst way to sales optimise it.

i would consider googling and finding similar sites and see what they are doing to get some tips. I dont mean copy there site by any means, but see how they are monetising it.

First of all, congratulations on actually taking action and putting up a site, and with that number of visitors you are off to a great start.

Getting your visitors to convert is of course crucial. There are a couple of things that will make a real difference. You want to be sure that your visitors immediately find what they were searching for, and so don't just hit the back button right away. Try to keep the main points above the fold, and have a compelling headline that makes them want to keep reading.

And make it very clear what you want them to do. So if you have an affiliate link you want them to click, then make your instruction very clear, something like Click Here Now. Avoid too many distractions, and make the choices they have very simple.

Focus on your niche and don't spread too much information/promote too many products.

You could also offer freebies and build a list .

I agree with Val Wilson, 80-120 visits a day is a great start, way better than mine

Take a look at the keywords your targeting, maybe they aren't buyer keywords.

Keywords are great, but, some are never really going to be very profitable, as they aren't buyer keywords. For instance, people could be coming to your site for free info, and then see a sales page and think it's not for them.

Think about some buyers keywords in your niche, for example, when people search the net for music CD's the likelihood is they are going to buy a CD, if they look for a CD cover of a specific album, they just want to view it for free. Do you see how this works? You might need to look into some profitable keywords for your niche, and redesign your site to promote your new keywords.

You need to be first targeting buying keywords. My rule of thumb is that on average 1% will purchase if you have traffic for a good buyer's keywords.

Put yourself in the shoes of the users clicking through your articles to your site, what are they thinking and looking for? Perhaps write a free report that may interest them on that niche/topic and build your list, this way you get to have more than one contact with the prospects. With a list you may even survey your list on what they need, and find/build that info to sell to them

Another thing you may want to do to is look at what other site owners for that keywords are doing, and emulate them esp. those authors that are writing many articles for that particular/related keywords

You've got some great advice so far.

Now, you may not want to or be at liberty to share the link to your site. If so, here's what I can advice...

You really need to get a private mentor. Maybe someone here or in the warrior for hire forum can give you pointers or be the right match. Your mentor will be able to better guide you since they will know EXACTLY what you need based on seeing your actual site, quality of your content, traffic sources, analytics etc.

It's hard (and possibly ineffective) for me personally if I give "blind-advice" i.e. without having some more definite information.

But I'll say this much...

You need to know 100% (or as close to that as possible) if you're actually attracting the RIGHT kind of traffic, and to the BEST kind of site.

And if, what, and how exactly you should be selling to them. Some markets online can't be sold directly to, you may only be able to make money from getting paid for hosting ads of some sort on your site, and there are other models as well, are you sure you have the best one for you and your audience?

All markets and audiences vary one way or another so you have to get specific laser-targeted demographics information on your own market and audience to be able to make the best possible impact.

At times I just feel like giving up after taking so much effort but doesn't pay off...I was considered lucky as while doing my research I found these warriorforum and maybe it can boost up my confident again...

There are several things that could be going wrong. It's possible your not connecting with your audience and the writing itself. It could be that you're targeting the wrong keywords. You should be targeting keywords at the end of the buying cycle. It could be the layout of your site. It's possible the sales page of the product you are promoting doesn't convert well because it sucks. It's also possible that the product you are promoting isn't relevant to the user based on what they are searching for.

It is important to realize what kind of mindset those people are. You said you're doing article marketing for traffic?

What are they thinking about when they're clicking though to your site? What do they want?

If you give that to them in a report and put an optin form up, you'll be building a list which is a great next step for you.

I'm still searching for some guidance in this forum where one who can be of a help to me in converting my traffic into an income.

At some point, I was even thinking if the niche that I'm going into now is right or just too competitive.

The WSO areas seems to be very enticing where one promotes their systems and proven to be generating daily income. Always very keen to try but not sure if they are just sharing the "how to" videos and blueprint or the system does the talking.

If it is really the system, than everyone here will be rich incl me...right

Nice bunch of guys and girls on here so i am really suprised you never got the help you needed thus far.

I will do my best (WITHOUT TRYING TO SELL SOMTHING)

I have been doing affiliate martketing for 8 years or so now and although we got here in the end it wasn't at all plain sailing.

Just to give you a breif overview of what i do and what i have done in the past so you can see i am not talking out of my ARSE.

Like i say i have been doing this job for 8 years , i origionally started promoting Forex stuff which made me 20-30 over a 3 month period ,m as you can imagine this gave me the motivation to carry on and get involved in other things , i then wrote a couple of ebooks that flopped completly so i signed up to amazon as an affiliate and started promoting thousands of products everyday which although was really hard work it made me a good living and to be honest more than i ever thought.

I then wrote an ebook called How to Mine for google gold , i will never forget it we were going on vacation the day i launched it and my wife had banned me from computers for a week whilst we were with the family.

To cut a long story short the book was way popular than i could have4 ever imagined like a million times (no i never made a million) Lol that sort of thing only happens inside peoples heads LOL

Put it this way though i sold 12,000 copies in 6 days , i have been writing ever since , I would say i am responsible for 450 succesful Internet Marketers.

to be honest i don't like to brag but i have done quite well out of this game.

Ok do you have a good list , the reason i ask is despite all that you read in ebooks etc organic traffic is very hard to come by , the people who write such ebooks would really love you to believe that the internet is a much smaller place than it acctually is and that getting your website found is as easy as 123 , Nothing could be further from the truth , it takes years and years to get a website noticed despite all the flick of a switch softwares that don't really do what they say on the tin , other than get you 0.0.0.0.0.0.1% closer and by the way each of those zeros represents 1 year so you can see it takes a long time.

I have 130 websites out there and there is only one that gets organic traffic.

Ok i may be wrong because how do you explain the likes of pinterest etc.

Of course there is another way but you wouldn't get much change out of 100,000 dollars , where i used to work an Internet Service Provided we had a service that cost 100,000 per year and the likes of Amazon-Baqrclays Bank etc would use it and yep they remain on the top.

Here is my honest advice

DONT GIVE UP

Get your self some good partnerships who have good lists of no less that 3,000 optins.

Don,t just go straight in there and ask themn to mail a special offer , make friends first there is nothing more annoying when i recieve an email that says "hi can you mail my offer to your list"

Whilst you are building good relationships pay a few bucks and get a good PLR Programme with reseller rights.

Get six or seven ebooks , print them all off and sit with a big cup of coffee and mix and match them your aim is to get 3 or 4 origional ebooks out of all that content once you have that , you will need to convert each ebook into word and start putting your ebooks together.

You need to call them three original names that no one has heard of.

Put them to one site and put together a really awsome Warrior page that lets the reader download each book for free , use an aweber form or similar.

Launch it on the special offer forum ,you need to pay the $40 or what ever it is these days , then wait 3 days by now you should have quite a good list already , Then log into your offer and $BUMP wait 6 days and $BUMP.

Ok although it will take you 3 to 4 days to put everything together and a good $200 to buy your PLR etc and all the bits you need such as ecover subscription.

You will have your very own 2 to 3k user optin list which will be Niche Specific

You can email them (without P**** them off) as many times as you want with your own special offers

Even better subscribe them from your website link in your WSO

By this time you will probably have more confidence to ask people you have never met or emailed , send your offer to their list.

As you can see this is a great way to force an organic traffic mechanism.

You can also use things like pinterest.

Is your sites setup to capture names and email addresses of your visitors/ build yourself a list as statistics show it can take up to 7 visits to an offer before one may order/buy it? if not i'd recommend you do this.

Opp2012:- I appreciate your lengthy advice and I'm very sure it is something that I can't do for now. Maybe due to my limited resources and knowledge. I have an opt-in form in my website but none turn into a list. I realize that it's all about list building in this IM industries and networking with some expert here who can be a mentor to my success.

I think I have not found the rite partner who can guide me since I know the theory well as mention by some folks here. I just find it hard to put it to action even after I tried.

That's the reason I'm here to search for some expert who is willing to guide me....while I'm still searching. I know this works but it just my luck and effort have yet to pay off...if I can put it this way

You already have an opt-in form. What you need to do now is just drive traffic to this squeeze page. That's all. Post articles to EZA, do soloads, do ppc to build your list. Your list is your property.

you just need to work on targeting better, try create about 4 articles - 600 word minimum and try your best to base it around the subject/category you are in

For example if I was selling golf clubs I would create 4 articles about buying gold clubs - this way after a few days google will start to rank your new content for golf buying related phrases

You could also try paid traffic thats targeted!

I did a total of 50 articles and I have submit it to few websites. All this was done within 1 to 2 months. That was my traffic creation I would say. The only issue I’m facing here is that the list building is not coming from my website even though the traffic is heavy.

Maybe I have to revamp my website I guess. I suspect they just come and go. In fact in my article writing I have link introduce them to 2 of my website. My squeeze page has a lower traffic but the other one is a lot maybe because it is from the wordpress platform.
