I know this has been asked in many variations before but what I'm looking for today is:

What are some of the best gigs you have purchased on fiverr?

The type of IM I am doing is affiliate marketing for now.

So I am looking for gigs in relation to that.

I really look forward to some helpful answers.

All the best,
Sean

  • I like the angela-paul backlink gigs. Those backlinks usually last a lot longer than others.

    • Hi Sean,

I purchased 2 gigs for web design help- one for facebook fanpage and one for my blog. I was ok with the fanpage, very happy with the blog.

One gig I was not happy with- my website url was to be submitted to all the social marketing sites, plus the fiverr member would post on her fanpage- which had thousands of members. Got virtually no traffic.

There are really good gigs on fiverr, but ask questions of the seller first.

  • Experiment with linkwheel gigs. Use a different gig for a few different pages and watch the rankings for a few months. I've found a few that are gems by doing that.

And some suck but that's to be expected for $5.
  • i used the press release once, not a great result but was okay.

I ordered a Sam Cornwell rant video. He's fabulous.

I also order a lot of social bookmarking gigs and they all work out well.
  • I will tell you what to stay away from:

    - "targeted traffic" gigs
    - Twitter followers and Facebook likes. They never usually work

    • Totally disagree with this post.

I get the "10,000 followers" gig and then with the garbage they give me, that allows me to manually add 600-800 QUALITY people daily.

This is priceless. It takes money to make money. You can't add 600+ followers daily if you are starting from scratch

  • PROMO VIDEO CREATION SERVICES ARE AWESOME !

search for promo and filter based on rating, u will get top providers there

i have used them on many projects
  • I recently needed a few logos created, 1 person took more than 2 weeks, I was just about to report it, and then receive two stunning Logos! Another finished some art immediately and the results were what I asked for exactly but sub-par a temporary fix for me, sorta worth the 5 bucks.

I also posted jobs and got no hits at all. maybe it's because I was new.

I think fiver is awesome if you do not need something done right immediately, or have time.

The video gigs seem to be the best place to spend your money. IMHO
  • I'm always overloaded on my gigs that I open them one day a week and have enough work to last me the whole week.

Fiverr doesn't suck, some of the rotten apples in it ruin it for the good people.

    • Has anyone got SEO related content written on fiverr?

There seems to be some really good gigs with lots and lots of good reviews?

      For the sake of $5......right?

  • I started on Fiverr as a buyer. I bought a logo...well, bought logos twice, the first wasn't what I was looking for. I also had someone work on slogans and someone else did an intro for a podcast I am working on. To kind of change up my avatar I had someone do a pencil drawing of my normal avatar. Non business related, and my favorite purchase, is an audio story about my kids that the guy wrote and read all for $5!

Now I am a seller. If you have some kind of app or tool that you would like a video tutorial/demo/training on I would love the opportunity. I am entrecon over on Fiverr.
  • A lot of good mentions in here. I'd have to agree with the "Targeted traffic" Fiverr gigs to stay away from. I did one of those once just to try. I did get traffic, but no conversions at all. I think most of them came from Switzerland, a chunk of them from the same IP if I'm not mistaken.

The Twitter Followers gig, I can't speak on... never tried one. I just use Tweet Adder to build my followers to targeted followers. However, there are probably some good followers gigs on there. You can also try one of the backlinks gigs. I tried a gig or two with my links posted to Facebook, but wasn't worth anything.

I'm proud to say I actually reached my Level 1 seller status recently. 100% satisfactory rate for tweeting messages throughout the day to my hip hop related followers. It makes for a nice few extra bucks that I can then spend on gigs that I may be interested in to try to elevate my sites a bit more.

And if something doesn't work out, at least I only spent $5.00 (though if you allow yourself, you can get hooked on it so don't let it happen)
  • Get those .edu backlinks...its worth it
  • I don't use fiverr, but I used to once,

the only gig seemed worth it was e-cover gig.

Some related to create Squidoo pages or hubpages sounds good as well.

I certainly don't need to mention Video gigs ( they are by default the best of fiverr )

  • If you buy writing on Fiverr, you need to find a writer from the United States. I've ordered content from many international sellers and the work was horrifying. The latest gig that I received, an article written by a seller in India, made no sense at all. I almost screamed when I saw it!

Lately, I've been having terrible luck on Fiverr. Out of the 10 gigs I ordered in the past week, 8 of them are late (two are very late) with no communication or explanation from the sellers.

    • This is a really great response!

Thanks for everyone sharing all the information.

I'm sure anyone who is wondering about fiverr will find some clarity through this thread.

It would be cool if people could post there top 3 gigs ( SEO related OR article writing related )

      Thanks again

  • Yes their support system really sucks sometimes.
I got a few warning messages on my account without even knowing why, and only after
a long discussion with their support members they removed the warnings.
They really have to improve their support.

    • ive had some great bookmarking, video, and yahoo answers gigs that have shot my site to page 1 fast. experiment with some top rated sellers and work out what works best for your sites!
  • Man, I always have a fiverr gig going!
Check out my profile holysony at Fiverr.com There are some stared gigs on the bottom you might enjoy.

  • Video and graphics creation gigs are quite good and you can't argue with the $5 price tag. Recommended!

    • Any suggestions of video gigs that have worked out for?
  • Anyone can suggest Fiverr gigs for video creation? I need to start doing video marketing for an offline client and want some to get these done asap. Anyone have any recommendations from Fiverr where they outsourced their offline client's videos?

  • Check out this guy doing 1,500 words for $5. He's great, I use him a lot and it's always nice since I tip him an extra $5 for every gig he does. Plus, he's a native english writer so you don't have to worry about the trashy non-comprehensive sentences.
  • I have a new Fiverr gig where I will make you a thirty second You Tube video for five dollars. Text over a colorful back ground, or a photo or video file you send me. My most popular gig is I will share your site with my Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus and Stumble Upon followers. Over fifty thousand social connections, it gets at least fifty hits of traffic to the site, and social signals and social shares are more important than ever in ranking. My username is rowanman28.

  • Hi,

I've used validateu several times on fivver. Great service, friendly and professional. I've used their backlinking service and commenting service.

    Thumbs up.
  • Hmmm.... I liked buying an intro video on Fiverr for my videos. The guy inserted my text and had a premade video intro he used with it. If you need the name of the guy who makes the videos, let me know.

Second best one was a database of 35K + quotes I could use on social media. Now I don't have to search for them on the web for an hour or so.
  • Have you guys considered privately trading gigs? Some of you have posted your gigs and names here. This thread could be used for people to post their fiverr names and if they'd be willing to trade.

You look them up on fiverr, send them a pm and offer to trade any of your gigs for the one of theirs you want. It seems that many of us (yes I'm new) could use each others services and would be willing to trade.

Obviously this would be done privately and not through fiverr so there is some small chance of being scammed but it would just be out of your gig and peoples review there could serve as a guide.

There are lots of gigs in this thread I'd be interested in trading my gigs for and I'm sure others would agree? It could really stimulate the ability to grow your site without spending any money, just a little time to do the gig your trading.

Anyone interested in something like that?

example, i'm lenny_winkle there and if there's any gig you see that you want let me know here or via pm (not via fiverr), tell me your user name there and I'll trade you any of my gigs for one of yours.

    • hmmm, that BuildMyRank gig looks very tempting. I might try that one.
  • I have use uniqueta to proof read e-books for me. She is awesome. BTW, she is a top seller on fiverr dot com. Well, it was approx two years ago I started using her services. The other people were great, but she is super. Needless to say, there are other gigs I can rec. Actually, there are many.
  • There was a guy imitating Steve Irwin(R.I.P) on video testimonials - it was good.

Sounds like a promising new business. I think gigswap.com is available.

Your mission will be to figure out how to monetize it.

  • I like having Fiverr as an available option and for five bucks it comes in handy I've been more pleased with the service than not.
  • I've had success using the article submission gigs. I always seemed to get the best "bang for your buck" out of these gigs. As long as you don't use the same one over and over, that is. I think that is probably what is best about Fiverr. You can really diversify your backlinks for relatively cheap as long as you are careful with gig selection.
  • I use Fiverr for 'robot' type of works - simple SEO tasks
