Need help to give away a unque Forex product for FREE

Hi Internet Marketers,

I need some advise... I am not an Internet marketer and I really hope I can
get some help here.

I want to give away a very unique and powerful product (created by Forex
trader with more than a decade experience), in the Forex niche in exchange for their name and email... This is to prepare ourselves for our Forex business

How to go about doing that? I know it sounds crazy asking advise how to give away something for free but I have tried over the last 3 months only to generate about 150 free subscribers.

I have a landing page. I use Facebook to direct traffic to this page. Thats my only source. In Facebook, in the Forex niche, most of them are trying to sell something and it seems they are not "buyers"

I know this product is capable of at least 10,000 subscribers in a month if targetted correctly... I just need to know how to give this away freely...

    I don't yet have the experience of list to help you out. I'm not sure how someone would be enticed to help you though as they too will gain nothing from giving away the book for free to their traffic.

    I would suggest giving them a stake in your eventual money making subscription site or product in exchange for say 10k subscribers. As they say it's better to have a smaller slice of something than a big slice of nothing.

      Its not just a book. Its a tool... and giving this away is givng away great value to the subscribers.

    I would definitely try forums. Sign up to the top 10 forex/trading forums and contribute relevant information to various posts. Have a compelling call to action in your sig to your website.

    Something like: "Free Report Reveals The Top 10 Mistakes Forex Traders Make" - you can come up with something better of course. Just throwing this out there as an example.

      You could try Traffic Exchanges, I get as many as 10 people a day signup for my list to get my free product.

    If you have enough money to buy solos from targeted forex lists, then do just that. That should be your best approach.

    Secondly, buy advertising slots on targeted forex websites too.

    You'll see results and encouragement faster this way.

    Forum marketing is much better than Facebook marketing in the Forex niche, I've seen. Target particular forums, and by this, I do not mean you go there and spam your landing page link all over the place and annoy people

    Be smart about it - write detailed, informative posts that would help people out. Tempt them to click on your signature, and you will hopefully see good results in the near future.

    Hi iTowkay lots of marketers give away free forex products these days. Its a highly competitive niche & if you are new it will be difficult to break into it. I get offered at least 10 per month to give away & rarely get involved. If yours is truly something special/of value then you need to explain what is so special about your item and tehn consider contacting existing marketers for a possible joint venture, Marc

    First off, it's not really "free". It's in exchange for the right to be pitched god knows what god knows how often for god know how long.

    If you think that's FREE then you need to rethink the value of people's time and energy.

    Second, nobody, and I do mean, nobody, with a reliable, winning, forex system is going to hawk it for $50 (or even $500) a copy.

    Anyone smart enough to build a winning forex system is ALSO smart enough to compound 10% a month for 5 years in Excel, at which point they'll go down and sell plasma or pawn their wedding tux, or whatever they have to do to get $5k to seed a trading account.

    How did you arrive at the 10,000 subscribers figure?

    You may want to change your approach slightly.

    First of all, who are you targetting? I'm assuming it's opportunity seekers, but it could be also people who are serious about trading, experienced trading, or those who specialise in a specific pair - you need to figure this out.

    Then, the number of subscribers isn't what you need to focus on now. It's much more important to figure out:

    - where you got your 150 from (can you get more from those sources, are they quality leads etc.)
    - how you can improve your current copy on your squeeze page to increase the number of leads you get from it.
    - interact with your 150 (start establishing relationships, see if there are patterns in the demographics)
    - find out what they are buying (the reason why they joined your list is probably different from what you intended it to be)

    Then when you're armed with more information you can scale things up.

    If you don't then you will be shooting blanks for a long time and you will still have to come back to doing your research.
