Is it a good idea to include the price tag for a review page?

I´m writing a review page and I don´t know if I should include a price tag for the service I´m writing about, I´m thinking that they will click away...

But they might click away anyway when they click on my hop link and enter the payment page, If I can write in a way that justifies the price they might be more receptive.
What do you think?

Sincerely
Karl

    Karl,

I think that by including the price you are going to get fewer clicks through to the sales page -- but the clicks you do get are going to be more qualified buyers.

One way that I like to use prices is if I can find one product that I want to sell with a reasonable price and 2 other products with prices through the roof. Then I include all of the prices and seem to get more sales for whatever reason

The other thing that you want to keep in mind is how compelling the actual sales page of the product owners is. If it is one of those pages that is just "the bomb" and could convert a nun into a stripper, you might consider leaving the price out of the equation for a bit and then test it later on with the price...

If you are reviewing the product to promote then it might be a good idea to leave the price out.

Build them up so that when they click through to the sales page it won't matter what the cost of the product is.

Or if you are going to include the price then leave it till the end and show the price in a light that makes it small in comparison to the value they will be getting from the product.
