How to Cloak this type of Affiliate link?

Hi All - I'm fairly new at IM. But I noticed on a couple of my sites, when I posted a new affiliate link, for the first or second day I posted the link, I would get decent amount of clicks on my affiliate ad.

Then, I would notice that over the next couple of days the clicks would drop off like a rock and then level off to hardly no clicks at all and stay there. After investigating I had smarter people than tell me I need to cloak my links to prevent hackers from getting them.

So I did that but my affiliate link actually has TWO LINKS that show my affiliate ID.
My affiliate link looks like this --->

DO I NEED TO CLOAK the 2nd LINK since it shows my Affil. ID? Seems like I would. Is that ad.linksynergyc.om link even required? I don't know what it's used for but I can remove it and nothing appears wrong with the ad but I'm afraid that is part of the tracking but I don't know. If I need to keep it, how do I cloak second link? I can't add that to the same PHP redirect file can I?

Thanks in advance for any input! LOU

So since the links didn't show up ~ I'm taking it you are worried about a hacker changing your affiliate id number to their own so they get credit for the sale and not you?.. My best advice is to have good security in place and hope it's too much trouble to hack you in the first place. If Google sees an attempt at cloaking that might be bad.

Link cloaking is actually not the same as content cloaking, which is frowned upon by google. You can basically set up php redirects on your website, or use the free plugin pretty links which you can download on the wordpress repository.

Thanks for reply. No, I didn't hide my link on purpose. I just don't understand how to post a link here, so it doesn't show up.

I didn't do a good job of asking this question, I know. I am cloaking my "Affiliate ID" so that hackers can't see my link. I got that and the redirect works good. But there's a second URL in the AD from the publisher of my Affiliate Link that links to Lynksyergy.com and I don't know what this link means but it also appears to contain my affiliate link too. So my question is do I need to Cloak this link too along w/ the main affiliate Link?

I'm using a PHP redirect for the main link, so does that mean I need to REdiret PHP pages for every one ad?

      Just confused by this.

      Thanks!
