Facebook timeline killed my sales

INTERNET MARKETING

I was getting consistent sales each week of my kungfu book. I have my twitter feed populating facebook and would periodically tweet about my training.

As soon as I switched to new time line - kaput - sales dead.

Has anybody had a boost from the timeline - if so how do you display your wares on there?

I've a Kung Fu punching eBook that was selling (not through Facebook) and I've a Kung Fu blog too so wishing you had an affiliate programme I could jump on...

Brother, I'm sorry to see this post. There's a saying: "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!" And it looks like that's what you done did.

The hard lesson here is don't mess with your money site - and always split test your marketing before committing to changes. Your question should have been made before implementing changes on your account - do research first, test first, ask first.

No let's go about making that timeline work - a little ingenuity maybe using the pictures - use timeline to your advantage. Try to identify what made the old way "work" and see how to approximate it in the new timeline - maybe there's a silver lining if you look hard enough!

I have heard that soon they are switching everyone over to Timeline, does anyone know if this is true? How will it effect business pages?

  That's true. I don't know when exactly. Reports say "in a few weeks".
  
  To be honest, I hate the fact that it's NOT optional. However, I'm gonna adapt and redesign my pages. Seems like we'll need to stay active, and create more interesting content. I would hate it if my customers & clients think I'm slacking

  I've taken a more extensive look at this timeline issue and my opinion is that it will make things a whole lot better for marketing!
  
  You need to see exactly what your timeline is actually doing with the information you and others are interacting with.
  
  I think that the timeline is more aesthetically appealing and can impact your message on any one visiting it.
  
  The key is to control it to your advantage - feed it its veggies and you will have a healthy sales prospective.
