Thanks for the data. It is very informative.

What I've noticed is there are a lot of great methods but it is usually the details of "how to do it?" that keeps most newbies or less experienced internet marketers from ever trying any of these methods.

I know that is where I was. Someone would say, "just put up a squeeze page" or "add a wordpress plugin", or "do a JV or solo ad" or "create your own product" and immediately I'd think, ok, great, now "how exactly do I do that!"

I would come up with 20 or more questions for each method.

Once I found out how to do some of this stuff myself, step by step with all the details, it was pretty easy, but in some areas there are still questions. Of course, this is exactly what people are selling, the details.

However, at least your list gives people and idea of what to go get more information about.

There's one problem with that.

Marketers don't create info products that teach all the technical nitty gritty because it wouldn't sell.

While people want to know this kind of stuff, their level of desire for it isn't big enough to actually pay money for it.

Plus, it can all be found on YouTube (probably).

Just go to YouTube and type in "How to Create a Squeeze Page" or "How to Use Filezilla" or "How to Use Kompozer HTML editor."

Or you can use Warrior Forum search.

Or you can post help messages on Warrior Forum and people will help you get started and wherever you get stuck.

I didn't learn this technical stuff all in one place.

You have to go do it and you learn by doing and asking questions and looking up things as you go.

Love all the tactics but for me the winner is the reverse optin, a beautifully simple idea that with the right motivational text on the page could work really well....will have to add this into my arsenal.

  What do people thing about and how do they use their lists for solos and swaps. Meaning, do you put everyone who buys from you onto a buyers list and then tread lightly there, only sending out quality content and the occasional promo at whatever interval. And... use the freebie opt ins to do the solo selling and swaps... OR... do you use your buyers for some of the solos and swaps...

True, you can find all the information all over if you search for it. I did that and I still recommend it to people who ar "cash flow poor" right now.

I also said, if I ever found the step by step and I could do it, I'd help others just like me.

I give a lot of this stuff I find for no cost or low cost away to other Im'ers, however, I make more money in niches totally unrelated to IM as I'm sure many people on here do.

As a matter of fact, unless you are selling WSO's, I think the IM niche is the most difficult. The people are more knowledgable about the tactics.

I like the report except the "not going to happen" part concerning WSO. I have sold $197; $297; $497 and $997 WSO's before and had no problem getting at least 2-10 sales each time. I haven't done so for a while because of other projects but it is doable. I agree for lead generation though, your method is more suitable, but again, you may be attracting pinchpennies and brokes on to your list. It might not be helpful to them or you to be doing so. Everything else sounds spot on and I will be applying.

So true.

BUT you have to think about volume.

You can often get freebie leads at a large volume with little effort.

And while you may get a low EPC when promoting something, you can still make more money from that list than your buyers list depending on the size of your buyers list.

ONE question. What do you contribute to the giveaways if you don't have a product?

Creating a product is my biggest trouble. I even invested $250 into a product creation course on here from someone popular (No names) and I'm still clueless. I didn't get a refund either... Anyway.

That's my only question. I'm eager to start list building.

I have found some that even allow you to alter the content and so I can change wome parts. There are a ton on here for free expecially in the War Room.

Otherwise, just google it.

Download Open Office Writer at OpenOffice.org Downloads

Then use it to write a 3 to 5 page report.

Then select "File" > "Export As PDF" and voila, you have a PDF report to give away.

Go find a sales page for a product in your niche.

Take a look at their list of bullets and see what kind of topics the sales page is teasing the prospect over.

Great stuff Jason, thanks! I was actually just finishing reading your Commission Explosion report which yielded a few gems I can definitely use.

Ant, I had the same issue. I had every tool imaginable at my disposable but the information overload and analysis paralysis was overwhelming. Take any piece of PLR that you already have or that catches your eye and create the report that Jason mentioned. Pick one of the traffic generation methods he describes and roll with it. The beauty of the traffic sources he mentions is that you can test with very little money. IMHO the most important thing is to walk/stumble through the process from beginning to end; creating a free product, putting up your landing page, getting the opt-in and then putting that lead through your funnel. Once you have executed even the first few steps come back and ask some more questions or PM me. Best of luck to you!

Wow. This is really great stuff. As a chronic lurker here on the forum, I just recently started my first list building exercise. I'm up to about 60 subs in less than a week with one affiliate sale that nearly puts me even money wise.

I agree with Jason - just do something and stop analyzing!
