Suggestions for Niche in the Mom Blog Market

I belong to a lot of Mom blogs where I am active. I was wondering if anyone is in this market and what niche they're in? Or if not, if anyone has a suggestion on going after a niche in this market.

Thanks for any suggestions or advice...Val

  • Hi Valarie,

Profitable niche ideas in the mom blog network?

    1. Balancing motherhood, a career and an online business...
    2. How to stay fit and healthy while taking good care of your family, establishing a career and running an online business...
    3. Earning money while taking care of your kids and working at home on your online business...
    4. Nurturing your relationship with your husband and kids, while running an online business from home...
    5. Taking good care of kids with disabilities...
    6. Taking care of blind kids and doing activities with them that can help them improve their skills and knowledge while having fun (I have permanent total blindness)...
    7. Earning income for your family by working at home as a mother with a disability (I'm a father with a disability, not a mother)...

I'm sure you can think of other creative, profitable niche ideas in the mom blog network...

HI Marx -Thanks! You got me thinking now so appreciate it. By the way, my Mom was born in Manila. I've never been and have always wanted to go. Love the food!

      Thanks...Val

      Hi Val,

      Fellow mommy blogger here!

I've been a blogger in this niche market for about 2 years...

From what I have gathered, this growing community, while very much a tight-knit community of bloggers, is still very green when it comes to profitability.

In other words, whatever your interests are - health and fitness, blogging, SEO, etc. you could take that and monetize it on your blog and do very well.

Do you have a blog already?

Hi Christine - Thanks for the response. Nice to meet a fellow Mom blogger. Yes, it is a very green market. On BlogHer I joined there affiliate group and there is absolutely no activity on there even when I tried to generate it.

I actually have numerous blogs on a variety of topics, a parenting book review blog, postpartum depression blog, those are my personal ones and then my ghostwriting/PLR blog.

        What about you?

I always thought that a book on how to handle discipline in a positive/constructive way would be a good seller. I've got two little girls (5 and 7 y.o.) and it seems like half the time they are out to kill each other. LOL.
