Hey Guys

Just wondering if any offliners want to share how do they track visitors to squeeze pages when the domain is advertising offline.

My suggestion would be to use a cloaked link or pretty link. You can create as many as you want and that way you can monitor exactly where all your clicks are coming from.

If yours is a new domain and people are directly typing in or Googling on your exact domain name and coming to your site that can be an indication of people coming to your site from offline promotions.

You could link cloak with a cloaking software. Create a different link for each offer you send: mail, personal visit, newspaper then you can gauge how Many people come from each source. Another idea would be a QR code that is redirected through specific pages on your site then you could track the clicks through each redirected page. Hope this helps.

    You can use a "coupon".

On the landing page you add a field to enter the coupon.

This by the way increases conversions!

A custom URL is a popular way to track your offline marketing and advertising efforts, as you simply switch up the URL slightly so you can better understand from where your potential clients are coming from.
