Check out my progress for my blog after 5 months!

So my blog is currently about 5 months old and this is the progress I have made:

-Have written a total of 100 posts!
-Revamped my layout such that I direct new readers to a few particular articles
-Wrote my first free eBook
-Installed PopUp Domination to capture leads and downloads for said eBook. I must say, PopUp Domination ROCKS! I have nearly 10 opt-ins already.

I feel like I have done "the right things" already. I know that gathering REAL visitors takes time, but I feel like I am not leveraging on something... I just don't know what it is.

People say I write well and think I will go far, but I really feel NOW is the time to make things happen. From there, I will start monetizing.

What do you guys think? Any tips or recommendations?

Sounds like you are on the right track, just keep optimizing everything you can and producing great content! As far as leveraging, it depends on what your overall focus is. What type of action are you wanting people to take when they visit your site, join your list, open your emails?

You have started on the right note. Just make sure to continue what you are doing now. And you will have something to cheer about every day if you work that hard for your blog.

    Best of luck from me.

100 posts is a long time without visitors. Try:

      Syndicating your articles.
      Guest blogging.
      Forum marketing.
      Social media.
      Social Bookmarking.
      Blog Commenting.
      Press release.
      etc, etc..

Hey, what do you mean by syndicating your articles?

It would be quicker if you searched for 'article syndication' in the search function.

It will explain it so much better than I could in a few paragraphs.

You are doing a great job. I encourage you to visit other bloggers in your niche and post on their blogs to make contact with them. Creating relationships in the blogging world is extremely important.

What type of SEO are you doing? Are you submitting your articles to article submission sites? There are some great gigs on fiverr that will really boost your rankings.

Traffic. Whatever you're doing, it's based on turning traffic into money. The more (targeted) traffic you pull into your site, the more money you'll make, and the easier it will be to test and tweak things in order to make even more money.

I suggest building a squeeze page and putting a link to THAT in every forum you're a member of, as well as your YouTube channel, etc...

Link to your squeeze page, not your blog...

    Have a great week.
