Hosting for multiple sites

Hi,

I am using Godaddy to host my multiple sites.

But I notice my DB server to go down from time to time (1 to 5 minutes), on several occasions and GoDaddy guys never admit it.

So I am looking for a new reliable host that offer to host multiple domains in an account with proper back end management.

Like to hear other Warrior experiences and recommendations

Hostgator is one of the best, google for a coupon, you can also pay up to 15 days late each month heh. Just don't go with the cheapest plan, go with second cheapest minimum for unlimited domains. They also have *real 24/7 support, not silly email stuff, people on at all hours.

    I would recommend Hostgator too.

A suggestion; Never register your domains the same place you host them.

I suggest you to see this top of the best hosting providers
    thebesthostingweb.com
The top was realized taking in consideration the following aspects: guaranteed and tested stability of the servers, accessible prices, no intermediary companies, number of hosted domains, very positive feedbacks.
    I hope this helps.

It's clear the majority choose HostGator. I've used them for years for good reason. They answer their phone and are located in Houston, TX. Where the most secure and reliable data centers are.

If you're looking to host 100's of sites. I would look to SEOHosting.com (owned by HostGator) and purchase C-Class Hosting. You should be able to setup 10-15 sites per C-Class.

      Best of luck,

      Kevin

    For the UK, try:

UK Web Hosting - Web hosting UK - UK Hosting Service

Their hosting is pretty much bullet-proof and I have some of my prime sites with them.

For C Class, one less-known but excellent company is:

Indianets Hosting : Shared Hosting | Cheapest Shared Hosting plans

I have one of my 250 site networks with them and they perform very well.

The main problem with some SEO hosts, is the overloading on the shared plans to offset their IP cost. This notices particlarly with WordPress and other SQL-heavy CMS systems.

You should try Hostgator or Bluehost, because both of them are reliable and can host multiple websites (as long you choose the plan that gives you unlimited domains to host).

    Hostgator for multiple websites hands-down!

I can't suggest this hosting anything more, I am happy with their customer service and I am pretty sure that you will like them too. I don't use and will ever will use Godaddy as a hosting so making a move is a good choice.

It looks like almost everyone agrees on HostGator. I'll add my vote for them as well.

I've run sites on at least a dozen different hosts over the years. I've had both good and bad experiences with hosts. Some hosts provide good performance, but they fall short when a problem arises. Some are mediocre at everything they do, and some shouldn't be in the hosting business at all.

Since setting up an account with HostGator, I've been extremely pleased with the performance, reliability, and customer service that HostGator provides.

Add another +1 to HostGator. I've never had a problem and it only has taken me a few minutes to get a Wordpress site up once I've purchased the domain from GoDaddy.

Respectfully, nobody who understands the importance of UK-hosting for a UK targeted site will be doing that, because Hostgator (brilliant host though it is) doesn't offer UK-based hosting, so even those who are Hostgator enthusiasts like me, who also have a specifically UK-targeted site, need to make some alternative arrangements. (I strongly recommend "Heart Internet", myself, if it helps).

I am glad to hear that you have had good results with HostTheName, but to date, I've found their support team appears to be lacking. While they have a 50% off coupon for warriors, I am finding the level of service I am receiving from them is falling short of the service I used to have with HostGator (whom I left because of said 50% off coupon).

Since the specific hosting company is being named here, I won't get into the details of what kinds of problems I have been having with them, since that is an issue between myself and the service provider, but I will say that I am very disappointed in the results I am getting from them. While I have a great supply of drive space and bandwidth for what I am paying, when the service isn't performing as promised and affects availability of my sites, the pricing becomes less important. If the current issue is not resolved in a timely fashion, I believe I will be leaving this provider.

While I agree that Hostgator is pretty good, last year I had to move the sites I had at IXWebhosting. I'd had the sites with them for a number of years until they let me down very badly.

Because IX doesn't run cPanel I had difficulty finding a host to transfer the sites for me, something I needed to do urgently because IX had transferred my sites to upgraded servers and couldn't get them displaying after 10 days of messing around [They'd killed the old servers]

Warrior Michael D Price of cashmoneyhosting.com [ also run by Warrior Kim Standerline] came to my rescue and transferred the sites to cPanel where he had them up and running within a couple of hours after I signed on with them.

Since then the support has been tremendous, way beyond anything you could expect from Hostgator.

For instance Michael has advised on ways to increase my sites display speed, even providing the code to do so. [Including htaccess files]

I've been extremely happy since moving, to the extent that I've transferred the sites I had at Hostgator to them as well.

They're small, but have been in operation for over 5 years, so I feel confident in recommending them.

    Michael

Id tried godaddy hosting in the past and had some rough experiences. After reading a number of posts on ihub I followed everyone suggestion by registering a domain with Godaddy and hosting with Hostagtor. Since then i haven't had many issues at all. The only real issue that Ive had is my webistes out growing host gators baby plan as far as resources go. But that was an easy fix, just had to upgrade.
