lots of signups with unvalid yahoo email address

Hi there....

I have purchased some traffic and seen a massive influx to my site with good conversions on my squeeze page. All have different IP's and the emails look real. But: Some never do the double opt-in conformation as the initial email can't be delivered. The emails don't look like random emails people are typing in to get to the product, so I assume they are real ..but still they can't be delivered. I don't know why. I have noticed most of them are yahoo emails...Thought it is the filter with yahoo, but do have myself a yahoo email in that list and I get my emails delivered. I haven't bought leads but just traffc so there is no need to sign up so I guess the people are genuinely interested.

Any ideas whats going on here?
Cheers
Thomas

How much traffic in total have you received so far? There can be a few variables, what auto responder are you using? need some more details.

Hi there...have used international and geotargeted traffic (germany)... maybe so 30,000 each ...I have been using a german autoresponder (Crown5) for some time now without any problems. But now I am getting all those unconfirmed users and bounce back emails that they can't be delivered. Not sure if the traffic seller is as good as the say they are.

How much are you paying for this traffic, did the seller specify how this visitors are being sent to your site?

I pay $3/1,000 visitors. It's a first page browser traffic system. So people get paid if they open a startpage. So, they are real people....and I got a lot of good and real double-opt in confirmed emails from just a lof of yahoo (and now even hotmail) addresses sign-up and they don't get confirmed. I assume they don't receive the initial email to confirm their subscription. Don't get it ...Maybe yahoo and hotmails filter system?
