Vanessa was one of the nicest people around. I wondered why I hadn't seen her online recently and was worried that she was ill again. Her son must be lost, as young as he is.

Vanessa was one of my closest friends I chatted to her most days.

I had a phone call today from a relative of hers and I am gutted.

I cant imagine how her son is coping.

I just love that the IM community mourns the loss of one of their own.

The Warrior Forum is like a big family! Warriors help each other in times of need and Warriors mourn the loss of the part of the family that passes on!

This is the third death that really hits close to home because I got to know Vanessa very well through one of my mastermind groups. The other two people that were like family to me were Bev Clement and Barry Richardson.

Don't tell me you can't care about someone you have never met in person!

I'm very sad to learn of this. I remember a long conversation with Vanessa maybe a year ago. She struck me as very caring and very much into what she was doing. I didn't even know she was ill. Total bummer.

WOW I am shocked! I just spoke with her not to many days ago. I know she'd has some medical problems that as she told me the doctors hadn't quite put a finger on.

I am SO saddened to hear that Vanessa has passed away. She was in the TMN room last week and I was so delighted to see her. She has been on my mind for the past several weeks.

Vanessa was so sweet and was such a wonderful presenter when she did her shows on TMN (TalkMarketingNow.com).

Kingsley, I had same exact thought. Thank you for posting. I did not know Vanessa, but as I'm reading how brilliant her light was and how much love, care and compassion she brought into your lives... I'm thinking how beautiful that she is free of her earthly body. Very painful for her boy though, I am certain. I was one of the last people to speak with Vanessa, and I have to say that I am glad that we left off in our conversation on a very pleasant note! She has been very helpful and is very easy to talk with. What a wonderful person to have existed on this Earth!

I just want to wake up, and find it's all just a bad dream.

V and I were working on a redesign of her plr site. And in the months before, we'd become really close. Although I never met her face to face, I feel like I've just lost one of my daughters.

As much as it hurts, I'm still glad that I got to know her, and I wouldn't trade my time with her for anything. She really was a loving and giving person. Fun and feisty, a wonderful laugh, so full of life. I'm still having trouble believing she's gone...

God bless you, Vanessa. And may God bless and keep your son.

Its fantastic to see so many Warriors paying their respects to Vanessa...

She was a great friend to me, and we talked often, she will be sorely missed.

To me she was larger than life, so full of energy, enthusiasm and determination, and if I could just be half the person she was I will be happy.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Louis, his mom was his whole life, and also to my other friends who shared thoughts, laughs and life with V on a daily basis...

You were well loved and will be so sorely missed Vanessa, a true Angel and light in a Dark world,

I was shocked to see this as last I "saw" her on skype she seemed to be feeling much better - that was just a couple weeks ago.

It sure puts things into perspective. You go and look at her profile page, see she was only tweeting 4 days ago and last logged into the forum 6 days ago... and now, gone.

All of THIS is very insignificant in the grand scheme of things... sometimes I think we forget that.

Just heard of Vanessa's passing through an email I received from a Forum member. I just finished reading all of these posts and what wonderful contributes. I didn't know her personally. Didn't have a chance. However, I feel from all the posts here on the Forum she was indeed a positive and wonderful person. Somehow I got to know her a little through this Forum and all the Warriors posts who knew her. I am glad I was able to post my condolences here for Vanessa also.

I visited the Memorial Facebook Page for Vanessa. Looking at the photo posted there it looks as though she is sleeping peacefully. So young looking. It is a shame to have someone pass so early in their years. My thoughts and prayers go out to her son and family.

Russ Skyped me and just told me this terrible news. How awful, she was one of the sweetest people. We'd skype every now and then, I always made time to chat with her and she was always so much fun to talk with. Awful. Prayers for her family.

If there's any question of who Vanessa was, this was a recent post from her facebook fan page...

"Yay! I found the homeless gentleman I bought the hat and scarf for. I'm so glad I found him. He was very cheery today and smiled with a, 'Hello, V- how are you, love?' It was a pleasure to buy him these small gifts and I know he appreciated them. His face lit up like a Christmas tree when he saw them!! "

Anybody who knew Vanessa knows that statement isn't 100% accurate. While I am sure his face lit up, it wasn't because he saw the gifts, it was because he saw Vanessa. She had much more than a positive attitude, she had a contagious positive attitude; the kind where you always felt better after talking to her.

She will be missed, not just by those who knew her online, not just by her friends and family, but by the world at large.

I was so shocked to hear this yesterday. It was only days ago that I was reading Vanessa's comments and posts and I was sure that she would get better soon once they had found out what she was suffering with. My thoughts are with her son, Louis.

Vanessa was so bright, funny and friendly - we've lost a true warrior.

A lot of people are commenting that they didn't know Vanessa! Let me tell you a little bit about her...

Vanessa was 36 years old and she would have turned 37 on March 10. She was a single mother with a 15 year old son who she was very close to. She was extremely proud of him and talked about him constantly.

She was once a model and she loved doing modeling. I'm not sure if she was still doing that but she seemed to have a passion for it. She was also a very good makeup artist.

She was an excellent writer and Ken and I had her write several reports for us. They were extremely well-written and people commented on the excellent content. She was very talented.

In addition to being a marketer, she was involved in the offline marketing niche and she was very good at it. She had written several reports and ebooks on offline marketing that were very good.

She was a very talented graphic artist. I once mentioned that I needed a header graphic for a website I was working on and she made a beautiful graphic for it. She wouldn't accept any sort of payment for it. She was just glad to do it!

Last but certainly not least, Vanessa was one of the kindest, caring, most compassionate people I had the opportunity to know. She was always willing to help other people. Even when she was having health problems, she Skyped ME to find out how I was doing because she hadn't heard from me. She was just that kind of person.

Maybe SHE should give you an idea of who she was...

I just heard about this today. It was just a few days ago that I was chatting with her on Skype. She was in good spirits and full of hope. It is so sad that she is gone.

My thoughts and prayer go out to her son and her family.

Two weeks ago, Vanessa had bought my latest book and when she realized that I did not yet have cover art, she made it for me -- and like you said, she would not let me pay her for it. So I advertised her services in my upsell book... It was the least I could do...

Several of us had the pleasure of talking with her about offline marketing on Saturday night. She stayed with us much longer than she normally did, so I feel blessed at having had that extra time with her.

She will certainly be missed.

Wow, you want to talk about showing a lot of class and being a caring person. In the excerpt above, she has just gone through all that...and she's checking up on someone else to see how they're doing? That speaks volumes about the kind of person she must have been.

I like others here didn't know Vanessa. Tiffany Dow sent out an email telling her story.
I watch people struggle through life everyday. But, Vanessa and others like her here on Warrior live their passion singing their own song... with a smile every day no matter the hardships they face.

It is rainin here in the 'holler today cause we have lost one of our folks! Each and ever one of us has the innate ability to have a positive effect on each person we come in contact with. Some of us uses that ability to have a positive effect on this ole world and some of us just go thru life on autopilot. Vanessa did nothin on autopilot. She was like a whirlwind of goodness plowin thru folks lives leavin a trail of kindness and carin wherever she went!

'Vanessa, you once told me that you was wantin to have a pint of... rheumatiz medicine... with ole Thad! I'm guessin that won't be happenin now so I am liftin one up to you!

There is an old Native American sayin that goes somethin like this...

"When you were born, you cried

You are now rejoicin and the world is now cryin!

i am still in shock.... i miss her so much, she helped me through my illness and the dark times that followed, i wish i could have done more to help.

Im going to the funeral to support louis but its so hard to sit in front of a screen anf work knowing she is not there.... I am so lost and confused

I had no luck to know Vanessa personally, but I've visited her site, read her writings, and heard only good things about her from others.

Our community remains poorer without Vanessa.

My sincere condolences to her son and family.

Sorry to rehash this but I must say Rest In Peace. It was nearly two years ago that I encountered Vanessa Reese here on the warriorforum. I was a veteran internet marketer who was struggling to get back in the game.

I would talk to Vanessa for hours on Skype. She was very helpful and passionate about her work.

I don't really visit the forum as much as I used to but tonight, I tried to look her up and this is what I found. It's very shocking and I'm at a loss for words.

If there was ever actually a good situation to resurrect a thread, this would be one of them.

I've never heard of Vanessa before now; but no one deserves to go before their time. I hope she is doing alright in whatever afterlife there happens to be.
