What questions would you ask a GURU in an interview if you were planning to turn the interview into a product?

Your question is very broad.

It really depends on what "guru" it is and what niche they are in.

In general I guess I would ask them if they could outline their process for _____ (insert whatever they do best) and how others can begin to do the same thing.

  I would ask not necessarily the step by step to success but more about different IM and business principles that made him a successful Internet Marketer.

1. Where did you get started?
2. What's working for you right now?
3. What are your plans for the future?

If someone is successful people are generally curious about how they got there.

They also want to hear about the sorts of things that are working for that person right now.

They want to know about any cool things they have planned for the future. (Where is this successful person heading because that's probably also where I should be heading).

I would ask him: "If you were shrunk to the size of a pencil and placed in a jar with the lid closed and you had 2 hours to get out but had to make $500 online to do it. What product would you sell?"

I would try to match up the questions that people are wanting to know (find out on forums or maybe things you have run into) and relate that to his/her business and what they are doing.

That usually brings out a great answer because they have real world examples to throw in...plus it helps promote what they do. It also helps that the guru then can get something of value while they help you ( a little promotion).

I'm always interested in the mindset of successful people. What makes them achieve results that other people don't.

I'd like to hear about the mental side of their business, and what makes them take action.
The simple act of taking action has sky rocketed my results online!

Listen to the popular podcasts in your niche and model your questions accordingly.
