Task Management - Is pen and paper still king?

I'm just curious what all of the different Warriors use to keep track of their tasks.

I've always wrote out checklists on paper or in Microsoft Word but after a lengthly audit with many different web based task management apps I have found that HiTask (HiTask: Task manager, to-do list, project management, team collaboration, online calendar, and task management software) works very well for my needs.

What tool do you use to plan out your daily IM tasks?

I back this up completely. Pen and paper is awesome in its simplicity and will always have its
uses, as far as I'm concerned, but if you've never used mind mapping software, give it a try at
      least once.

You'll likely be blown away. It's wonderful for organizing information and keeping it at your
      fingertips.

Not to mention how effective it is at performing its intended function (brainstorming); it's like
injecting your creative mind with steroids.

I've tried a few task management apps. I really like Paymo for my personal usage. Does not hurt that it is free either. At least for my needs.

It allows to you create task lists, manage clients and projects, set milestones, view and generate reports, create invoices, collaborate and delegate and do fairly in-depth time tracking as well. It is free for one user, so easy to check out and assess. More users on one account starts quite cheap if you have a small workforce.

Good old pen and paper for me when organizing my 'To Do' list for the day! I prefer to have it sitting next to me so I can see what I'm doing.

Do any of you mind sharing the structure of your pen and paper checklist? Also, how much time do you spend writing the day's agenda?

I still use a pencil and scrap paper for short-term task lists but Evernots is getting a lot more use every day. It is great because I can access it from my Android as well as any pc.

I used to laugh at the thought of ever putting anything "into the cloud".

Now the cloud is getting a little more like breathing every day.

I too am slowly beginning to use my cloud to keep my tasks linked between laptop, iPad & iPhone. I just use the "Notes" feature in the iPad - iPhone to make my dailies.

But, my first reflex is to grab my trusty, yellow legal pad to make my lists and notes.

Sometimes I even write shorter articles for my various sites on the legal pad first. I seem to think as fast as I hand write ...

I have suffered too many viruses, trojans and blue screens of death, to trust everything to electronic devices; thus, I still do many things the old school way. I'm still a big fan of pen and paper.

    Dito -- using a 2012 diary.

I put tomorrows task down and then limit my time on each task to approximately an hour. I have three sections: my list, my traffic and my offers.

If I don't then I fall into the habit of not sending an email for a week, not updating my blog or not working on a new product.
