Seeking a mentor. I'm ready to work.

My name is Nate. I'm 23 years old, and I would love to be mentored by an experienced warrior. I know I'm young, but internet marketing can be quite lonely at this age, considering my peers don't really care about financial freedom at this age, or websites and stuff.

You might have seen my thread: Approaching my breaking point

I was struggling to make a loan payment. However, I decided to gather my head together and put my best foot forward. Starting Jan 28th. it led to these results:

I know it's very small but I really want the chance to improve, refine and maxmize my potential.

Ienjoy website creation, seo, and I guess some form of teaching.

I am extremely coach-able. I won't waste your time, as I know that is extremely valuable. I will do as I'm told to help me succeed. I am also very humble, so I will never question you or your methods.

All I want is some guidance, to get conditioned into a warrior who lives life on his own terms. I'm not sure what I can do in return, I can be a test subject to whatever marketing product you have coming out, or whatever you need.

I hope someone considers me. I would really love this chance to experience financial freedom, and more so, meet friends on here who also enjoy internet marketing.

I want financial freedom.

Thanks for your time,
-Nate

Why do you need a mentor when you're achieving results like this in a short period of time? Simply redo what you did to earn commissions over and over again. And if after you're done, and you have more time on your hands... find another way to market the Clickbank products.

This is the thing. I'm worried about the longevity of this. I know the model I have can use improvement, but I want ideas as to ways to do so without wasting too much time, or messing up what I already have set up.

The reason why I'm reaching out is for this very reason.

In my experience a lot of "mentors" are good at teaching "theory" but not doing. You have already shown you have the ability to make sales so why not "back yourself" and keep at it and set your goals for a new revised goal?

Use the money you safe from hiring a mentor to invest more time into yourself.

Good luck and congrats on what you have achieved already!

@ Tim - I think you're confusing mentoring with coaching. A mentor simply tells you what he/she might do in your situation.

A coach gives you a specific actionable plan and does all the "rah rah rah" cheerleading to help you reach that goal.

    Very different models.

@NateTheGreat ... You're talking a lot about what YOU want. What's in it for the mentor? Any of us experienced warriors looking at this are thinking 2 things...

    1) "He SAYS he'll follow through, but will he really?"

    2) What's In It For ME?? Why should I take time out of my money making day to help this kid for free?

Hey Mr. Foster. I've really thought about this, and I honestly don't know.

I don't have a lot of money. Just time, dedication and drive.

I know that's not offering much value, but I can only give what I have. I know offering the above is of little value to most successful warriors.

Sorry if the original post sounded selfish.

I agree with what's been said above, you are already getting results and the fact that you are actually taking action to get results and are considering changing your approach to improve your business means that you have the potential to achieve some success doing this. Take it easy keep doing what you are doing, the right mentor will appear when you are ready.

It's not small - it's huge considering where you were in the previous thread.

I said there - and I'll say it again - you KNOW what to do. You just need to trust yourself and do it. Ask specific questions if you hit a speedbump and you'll get answers here.

Don't back off now thinking "but what if" - just keep going and keep pushing!

Those to me looks like a huge step to success you are on your way and Honestly I have to agree with the rest of them, for a short term stand point you have been making results there are many internet marketers out there who don`t make that much in a long term stand point.

You need to keep doing what your doing! Rinse and repeat is what us fellow warriors would say about this type of things! You have to learn learn and apply! and you`ll be there!

Motivation is also a huge factor! STAY MOTIVATED PLEASE!! its just so important and can do such a far way. I also found that when you talk to people about these little problems and these stressful choices it helps you keep motivated, I know that sounds weird but its true! you have to keep your mind together!

    Keep going!!

Thats all I could really say! Those are results remember that there are people who are wishing they had even just a penny from there efforts! So keep going and rinse and repeat!

Good luck! if you have any other questions just ask were

    Here for you!

Lol, if you think that's a small amount, especially for when you started til now, I'll gladly take that money off your hands! Lol!

Jokes aside though, you'll find lots of great people in here, so in essence, we're all either being mentored with something or mentoring someone in a field as well. But yeah, you may want to eventually consider a coach that can help you when you're at a point that you're ready to deal with one. Or, network and you may find someone eager to help you because they know where you are now and were there themselves as well. There are lots of generous people in the forums as well so you're definitely at the right place!

Now if I can get my CB to look like yours at this time, I'd feel better about CB and trying to make progress with it. I've sold a total of under $100 in the timeframe I've had it which is definitely a longer time than you. Keep doing what you're doing and you will also find the mentor(s) or coach(es) you need to succeed! And hey, you may already be able to write out an ebook of some sort to help people get to where you're getting at in the timeframe you have. That ebook can be presented as a WSO and you may make some more money as well!

    Best of success to you!

    Mentor/Coach whatever.

The fact is you don't need either. I think in many cases both are there to help themselves more than anything.

Many mentors/coaches talk from the theoretical and not the "been there, done that, this is how I got it to work" approach. Theory based is not what you want. You want stuff that has actually worked "in the trenches" so to speak.

I mean if someones income is largely derived from coaching others you would have to question this. Why aren't they out there following their own advice?

I get asked to Mentor/Coach people all the time and 12-18 months ago I used to do it at crazy prices, but no more. Even then it was only a very small part of the business.

Now it's only the very occasional person that I coach (and just to be clear, no I do not want to coach you sorry lol).

Why? Because I am out there building new websites, generating traffic and doing the stuff that I would be telling other people to do.

To the original poster: Stick to what you have been doing and expand it. Read a lot but make sure you check peoples credentials BEFORE taking their advice. There is a ton of BAD advice on this forum from people who have not made a cent online.

By the same token there is good advice by people who have made it. Your job is to figure out which category people are in before accepting any advice.

Ask for proof of their success and check all references and websites, etc, etc.

    Good luck with it.

    Cheers
