What's going on in the WSO world? [Word Cloud]

This was made using only the first page of the WSO forum at 11:00 PM Central Time. Made this by copying the text on the page, cleaning it up a bit, and pasting it into a free tool I came across- Wordle.

This tool lets you make a word cloud by inputting a bunch of text, an rss feed, or even del.isio.us tags by username.

If you're anything like me, you'll start thinking of a ton of ways you can use this tool! For this example, it's great for WSO creators and promoters to see what topics people are covering at the moment. (which indicates these are hot topics!)

I'll also be using this tool for my blog and probably use it for products I create when the situation arises. What about you, what could you use this for?

  • Hey's that's actually pretty cool when you think of it that way. It's like a visual automatic-brainstormer.

I stared at it for about 5 seconds and got three good product ideas.

    • Absolutely, it provides a unique and creative way to to analyze data. I also plan to use it for coming up with product ideas. Could use it to analyze the WSO section, products within a category on Clickbank, and much more!

I didn't think about that, it does organize the words in a visually appealing way and if you check the tool out, you'll notice they have a bunch of formatting options. A word-cloud would look great on a relevant eCover or salespage. Good ideas..

Yes of course, I'm sharing it here for my fellow warriors to use it however they'd like. Feel free to use the image for whatever! And better yet give the tool a try for yourself- you can probably make a better looking one (I only spent 20 minutes playing around with it).

  • That is one of the coolest things I've seen today (well, we are only 4 minutes into it! LOL, but seriously it IS cool).

Definitely going to check it out.
  • How about Product Covers such as e-books, which is probably what you were thinking, or perhaps sales pages where you think it may work.
  • Great work mate!
    really awesome.
can i use it for my website (don't have any yet but planning to build one then..)
  • Just figured out to make something fun out of this! Thanks for the share, I remember wondering before how I can do this kind of stuff without photoshop, thank you being much of helping hand to all.

    • Hi Dan,

Thanks for the share, looks interesting. Question though. I've tried to put the url Warrior Special Offers Forum in the url section of the tool but then I get a message "no associated feed"?! I can't find any rss feed on the WF so I can't put the url in there.

Do you know what I do wrong?

      Thanks,

      Hung
