Can anyone share ideas and/or own experience about which method you believe can be named as most fool-proof for making money online?
As well as the one that doesn't need too long weeks and months of work to get it going.

Any input appreciated.

  • Sell services. They said it is the fastest way for newbies to make money online. Well, I haven't make any money yet, I don't have a skill or expertise in anything.

Currently learning how to make a custom Aweber opt-in page, design an ebook, make a squeeze page, etc.
  • Work hard, do not get discouraged.
  • The easiest way by far to earn money quickly is to sell IM services to offline businesses who really need them

    • Hey Gotti, your signature worked! Just bought your course on offline + tweak.
  • -Choose a niche
    -Create your own product
    -Build a minisite
-Insert opt in form to build list
-Recruit affiliates through clickbank / paydotcom
  • Selling on Fiverr. They could start with something labour-intensive like writing articles or doing manual link submissions, and once they've earned enough cash they could reinvest it into other ventures or tools.

  • Thanks everyone very much for sharing your thoughts. I believe there could be even more ideas coming. I feel it is good to discuss because it gives all of us a clearer idea what and how to do. So far I tend to agree with Andrew Gotti and Tenzho about selling services to offline clients.

Shireen - I hear you, but I also feel that what you listed has many ramifications in which newbie may come short of experience and knowledge.

Candy - Thanks for your input. Definitely being able to not be discouraged is very high ability in itself, thanks. But I was meaning it as a given approach in my question.

Megawarrior - Fiverr sounds Ok too, but not sure if they can make serious money with it?...

    • Actually I was just thinking it's a place where newbies could make there first couple of bucks online with minimal setup cost, not to make serious money. But fiverr can be used as a platform to get initial client contact and then upsell higher-priced services.
  • The most fool-proof method would definitely be to sell some kind of services, although a lot of services do not yield a decent amount of money because of the large number of people in developing countries willing to do jobs for a much lower price. There are websites like Freelancer.com - Hire Freelancers & Find Freelance Jobs Online vWorker.com: How work gets done. Guaranteed! and lots others where you can bid on projects and get started in relatively small period of time. It just takes a few hours to setup a profile and maybe a couple of weeks of bidding to land your first project (the first one is hard to get, but it gets easier). Fiverr is an alternative, but it can get frustrating doing the same thing over and over again for a fixed price.
  • If you need a quick dollar to support IM sell some services. You can write articles, BMI posts, or repackage links etc. Advertise right here on WF.
  • Concentrate on providing lots of value for a specific group of people that need help or are having problems. The law of supply and demand never fails.

But, whatever you decide don't expect to be making thousands in your first few weeks. If it was that easy everybody would be doing it - and no one would work jobs.

Focus on other people, and you will make money by default.

    • As you can see from the posts, there are many different takes on this.

I think it comes down to how you are as a person, how creative you are, how pro-active you are, how quickly you can move on something.

You have to find your own avenue to start with. Take it from there, research, learn, apply your knowledge and become a success.

    • This is an unbelievably smart comment. It is stunningly accurate. You must focus on serving others before focusing on your own success. You will be rewarded greatly for this.

I totally agree with you; I feel that too many people are deceived, thinking that they can make thousands online in just a couple of weeks. It's not that easy folks.

You must rise to the 20% of individuals who achieve 80% of the results. Success is a challenge, but this is what makes it fun.

  • I have news for you: there is no shortcut for success.

This is what you need to achieve massive success.

    1. A sincere desire to change
    2. Access to the right knowledge
    3. Action
    4. Persistence

Regardless of what you choose, you must be willing to put in the work to get results. I recommend getting on this forum to attain the right kind of knowledge, and then setting up an immediate action plan.

The last ingredient is persistence. Once you are aware of the right principles you must apply, you must commit to not stop until you achieve your goals.

    • There is no easy route to success - you must work hard and most importantly, you must apply what you learn!
And focus, dont get distracted by new/upcoming things sent to you in your inbox - keep your focus on what you are doing and do not go for everything that people are throwing at you, as that easily becomes information overload!
Do one thing at the time, example... if you are learning about how you can offer your services to offline businesses by creating their fb fanpage - stick with it until you have learnt it and got some money from offline business doing just that. Once you know how to do that and can do it properly and in your sleep then you can start doing/learning something else.

All the best from sunny Gothenburg

  • Everything is going to take time besides services. I highly suggest getting into a service of some kind while also working on a more long term plan.

    • Amanda, you have touched on a very important principle, and it is the principle of having a long term perspective.

In any online business, or any business for that matter, you must always look deep into the future. The problem with most internet newbies is that they seek instant gratification. Actually, this is the main problem with society in general.

The path of least resistance holds most people back. Having a long term perspective practically guarantees your success. The further into the future you can look, the more successful you will become.

Success is a process, and once this is understood, it becomes inevitable.

  • Find someone who can build you adsense sites for cheap, have him/her drive traffic to it and rake in money on autopilot. That is how I got started. No knowledge is required and the best part is you will make money as you learn. Let me know and i'll direct you to some reputable sources.

  • 1) Find a hot niche

    2) Create or find a product for it

    3) Get a website

    4) Get an autoresponder

    5) Create a squeeze page

    6) Drive people to your squeeze page

    7) Collect email addresses

    8) Market to these leads over and over again

    9) Get sales

    10) Sell new products to the new customers you acquire

    Very easy to do.
  • As some others are saying, selling services is one way forward. You can make an easy start by offering article writing on Fiverr, for example, and sending messages to people there who are asking for article writing . . . you'll get much more work if you actively look for people wanting it, than hoping they'll take the time to find you.

Later, you can expand such a service by outsourcing the work, so you can expand it to a business rather than a job.

The problem with most IM methods that you pay money for, is that the author gets the money whether the method actually works, or not. If you want something rather more guaranteed, then look for a method which doesn't work that way, such as a method posted for free here and confirmed by many respected Warriors, (or see my Sig)

  • Without a doubt the fastest way is freelancing. From there you can move to offline services and lead generation like other people have already mentioned. As far as "fool proof" is concerned there is no such thing. People fail every single day at the simplest tasks for various reasons. There a TONS of good ways to make money online you just need to decide what it is that you do well. Don't focus on what may be easiest or most profitable, because that may not be sustainable for you.

    • I like your way of putting it. I sense too, that each of us has to find very unique method that works particulalry well for him/her, irrespective of how reputable or popular this method is deemed to be by general opinion in IM.

Another funny way of looking at it, as I realized, is to use two main things:
      1. Google search + Youtube search (you can find almost 95% of free info on what is being sold online)
      2. Common sense.
