Need Snappy Domain Name - $10 for your help!

I need a domain name with pizazz.

It's for a site offering web design services.

I'd like something that kicks ass, but kickasswebdesign.com is already taken.

I'd like something kind of edgy, but cuttingedgewebdesign.com is for sale by buydomains.com for $1200 (though I can get the .net version at a bargain basement price of JUST $333). Too bad, I really liked that one.

So - something edgy and brandable. Not too long. Dotcom preferred, and preferably no hyphens.

Since the collective Warrior brain power is much greater than my own, I'm looking for your help.

I'll send $10 to your PayPal account if yours is the one I select.

I hope you can help - and thanks!

- Kat

    Why not KickassWebsiteDesign.com? That's available.
    Or even KickassSiteDesign.com (available too)
And of course... CuttingEdgeSiteDesign.com (moocho available)
Or just add an 's' to your first... KickassWebDesigns.com (available)

I named my company by paying $5 on one of those domain forums for a list of unregistered 4-letter .coms, and picking one that was pronounceable. 4 years later I'm pretty happy with it still

      asskickingwebdesign.com is available.

So is asskickinwebdesign.com if you want to grab the slang spelling.

      Ditto for asskicknwebdesign.com

I should have mentioned one more relevant point - a couple of days ago I reserved kickasswebdesign.NET - but a prospective customer 'suggested' that some (not he) might feel like it's a bit unprofessional, so I'm looking for something without the kickass in it for now.

        cuttingedgesitedesign? Possible.

        Keep 'em coming!

        Thanks,

I don't want your $10. Thanks for the offer.

          Wow, you're easily influenced.
For me, it takes two prospective customers with no real interest in my business.

Hey John! Well, the prospective customer is the head of military psychology for the US Army, and it could lead to other work - so for this one, yeah, I'll be easily influenced.

There's your answer... the U.S. Army is a (really) big spender.

If they're likely to be a medium or long-term client, have a domain name just for them: militarywebdesign.com or something like that.

The military (all militaries, that is) are more "corporate" than the corporate world itself. Present them with militarywebdesign.com and kickasswebdesign.com and you can probably guess which would be chosen first.

Also, I don't know how valid this would be in your case (since I'd imagine the military would host any site themselves, unless it was very generalised) but calling special attention to how secure your systems are (even for something as simple as updating a site) would help (especially if you are submitting a tender for whatever work you would be doing).

              Tommy.

Ouch, kind of hurts thinking about it!

I thought something real simple like snappysites.com would work, but it's a parked page at GoDaddy.

So, what I'm thinking right now is:

                  snappysitedesign.com

Would that work? Catchy? Brandable? Meaningful?

Sometimes people need to think with creativity...sorry to say but a designer knows best what will flow with his customers.

For example... for me it would be Chaos Designs simply because that is me.

For someone else it can be :

                          Inferno Web Design
                          Top Barr Design
                          Immortal Designs
                          Dark Web Designs
                          Memento Designs
                          Sitecom Designs
                          Sure Web Design
                          Oola Web Site Design
                          Trance Echo Designs
                          Divide Web Design
                          Tiger Tiger Web Design
                          Florette Web Design
                          Refreshing Web Design
                          Aeonic Web Design

mmm....so many things a person can think of. Good luck to the person that got $10.00

Just look at what words you like...eventually it will just come up in your mind.

There's one web design site that has a neat name - if you like it, you can probably adapt it:

              themouseworks.ca

Try www.themouseworks.com (sorry not avail. but domainfellow.com gives a good list of alternatives)

              or
              www.mouseworkswebdesign.com (not available either)

              www.webmouseworkswebdesign.com is available
              so is
              www.mouseworkswebdesignpro.com

If you go to domainfellow, you can enter any keyword and get domains with suffixes and prefixes which is good if the one you want isn't available.

Just trying to trigger the great creative minds that linger here.

Think of the branding possibilities. I don't particularly like the name either, but it's memorable. For all those that might be turned off because it's unprofessional, how many others will remember the name and give you a call?

I would suggest that the term "cutting edge" is so overused that it's no longer "cutting edge." It's so 90's.
