How Do You Research Your Chosen Niche?

Best way is to go to Forums and find out what people like best about certain products.

This is the short answer but it's one of the best possible ways =D

In terms of researching for products etc this is what I do..

1) Go To Google
2) Search "keyword + Forum"
3) I then open the top 20/30 forums.
4) I close any forum that hasnt been active in the last year.
5) I then browse through the forum looking for Questions being asked.
6) I then make a list of questions and if the solution has been provided in the thread I write the solution to the problem down aswell (Copy paste is excellent!)

One piece of advice:

Make a document that contains all the URLS of the forums in one place for quick reference.

how to cure
how to solve

and other variation

You will get tons of niche, find the one you think is interesting, continue researching the niche.

Definitely check and make sure that organic results have Adwords Ads several pages deep...the more, the better...that means that there is money to be made in that niche, otherwise people wouldn't be paying for targeted traffic.

That is always the first thing I look for.

There are a few ways that I research credible information for niches... these include, but are not limited to:

- My university library (via the website)
- Google Scholar
- Looking through magazines in my specific niche
- Finding authority websites in my niche and extracting information
- Scan relevant journals
- Look for studies conducted pertaining to my niche (if viable)
- Search for personal experiences documented (almost always online).
- Sift through social bookmarking websites for popular links

**BONUS TIPS**
Go to How-To Dummies Guide and buy the book in the niche you're researching. The website itself is a goldmine of information for many viable niches.

Search Google for niche + glossary. This is extremely useful because you'll be able to use the jargon that your target audience use (making you more trustworthy in their eyes, and that's a really crucial point that I cannot stress enough) as well as getting a better understanding of the actual niche itself. It will allow you to write more fluently, and fluency plus accurate knowledge of the subject at hand is the recipe for successful syndication (in my opinion, anyway).

Interesting (and accurate) facts spun into an easy-to-read article will hook the reader, build your credibility and trust with them whilst demonstrating your expertise in your given field and will ultimately translate into more sales (as you direct them into your funnel).

But it all starts with research!
