Do you find value in replying to old blog posts?

I subscribe to StumbleUpon and find myself replying in the comments section of blogs when I realize that the post was made in 2007. Some of the comments before mine were recent too. I use SU mostly for research and generating ideas but I find that I have to go through a lot of web sites before I come up with something.

  • now that you have alread replied ... you can only hope that they will bring some value to your business one way or the other ... otherwise commeinting at old blogs is not a very smart thing to do
  • As long as you don't spam, I don't see anything wrong with posting on old blogs. In fact, it could be very beneficial because lots of blogs have dofollow links which means you get backlinks to your site.
