What is the correct way of syndicating articles?

lets say that I have articles on my review page, should I take the exact one and upload it on Ezine or should I re-write it(spinned)

I think this post by Alexa Smith sums it up pretty good:

    Well Charlie,
I already know you can write some good ****, if you can stay away from that crack pipe, you crazy sorcerer.

So, one of the skills you are really going to have to learn and master is the ability to create and maintain long-term relationships.

Yeah, I know, it sounds like an oxymoron, but those of us who don't drink tiger-blood have known long relationships are real for quite a while.

Because, the "syndication strategy" really is about building a network of people who are happy to syndicate your content for you, all the way from the tiger-infested jungles to Mars.

And how do you go about finding these people? I'd love to get my articles out to a wider audience (and as a result hopefully bringing me in more money), so would appreciate any info you could provide.

      Thanks,

Find out who the authority writers are in your market and then do a search on them. Most of the sites where their articles appear are likely to accept syndicated material. I've gone 18 pages deep in Google on a single author and kept finding more great places to post my stuff. Also check the resource and link pages on these sites because they often point to more sites that take syndicated articles as well.

Syndicating articles isn't a "quick hit" strategy that lends itself to spinning or scraping or spamming. It requires top quality, informative writing that adds value to the sites that accept the articles.

Hard to add much to the above, but I would like to add a clarification...

When you upload an article to a directory like EZA, you are not actually "syndicating your article." You are making it available for syndication by other webmasters and ezine publishers.

      Picky? Maybe.

But it gives you another perspective when faced with vendors offering to "syndicate your article to x,xxx sites for $0.12."

Google penalizes for duplicate content. It might affect your pagerank

      This is utter nonsense.

Google says so expressly in many places. On websites, on videos. It says so on the beaches and in the hills. It says so on the land, at sea, and in the air. And on Google's WebMaster Central Blog, it says the words "Google will not penalize your site for duplicate content".

Rhetorical question, but why is it always Warriors with the letters "SEO" in their usernames, sig-files or avatars who post this nonsense?

Because scarcity is the only way to sell their seo services.

Comments like that from "SEO experts" are so useful though. It makes researching whether they know what they are doing so easy!
