Hi there

I have gone 0 to 6 affilates in a very short space of time.

I know them all welll and have relationships with them.

As this is the first time I have ever had affilates I wonder if you could share a top tip with me.

From your experiences what advice would you give me. The IM learning curve is so steep and exciting.

Share Interesting tips with them which will be of importance to them related to there likeness.
Promote products in which they are interested, not what You like to promote.
Offer them high rates from conversions.

It really depends on what type of affiliates they are... Are they the kind that build SEO review sites for your product that will bring minimal sales, or have big mailing lists to bring in big sales...

If their the SEO type, provide them with some content ideas, if their mailers, give them swipes.. Most of all be pre-active to their needs, don't be re-active...

So what I mean is, don't wait for them to ask for promo tools, tell them this is what you have!

thats great thanks. I am going to be teaching them some IM skills about list building, facebook pages etc. They are mostly promoting me on face book and in websites.

I love that Matt..... I will create those promo tools for them.

    • Make it as easy as possible for your affiliates to profit from their relationship with you.
    • Give them done-for-you swipe files they can use to promote to your lists.
    • Teach them how to cloak their links so they retain as much commissions as possible (ie,

    • Look out for them...and encourage them to look out for you.
    It grows from there.

    Hope that helps!

My best affiliate management tip would be to NOT
treat all of your affiliates the same.

You'll likely find that 5% of your affiliates will produce
the vast majority of your sales, e.g. 90%.

Therefore, take the time to identify your 'super affiliates'
and then give them more time and attention. Help them
MORE so they can help you MORE. Ask them what they
need from you to help them make more sales.

(The vast majority of affiliates will do diddly squat).

    Dedicated to mutual success,
