[URGENT] Can I Use My Friend US Bank Account TO Receive My Amazon Payments/Royalties?

Hi Warriors,

I am from Pakistan and I am publishing good quality content via Kindle direct Publishing Platform , in simple kdp...

And Amazon pays me But Amazon only send checks to Pakistani Publishers (NO EFT facility in Pakistan) but the probability of check lost is very high since my friends checks has been lost, so I want to avoid that. That's Why I want to know.

Can I use my friend's US bank account to receive payment?.

Will Amazon pay me in my friend US bank to receive payment.

Should I mention my country and my zip code and in the payment section. Select EFT option
and give my friend's Bank Name, Routing Number and Account Number.

I will not be using my friend's Tax ID and SSN...
I will be only using his Bank Name, Account Number and Routing Number.

IMPORTANT: The tax will deducted first and then the money will transfer to his account...( I will pay tax and not my friend)...

Is this Right OR any other suggestion you want to give...???

    I would suggest you contact Amazon directly and get that answer. However I strongly suspect that the answer will be no.

      I contacted Amazon Kindle Support Team But they are taking too long too to reply...

      And why your answer is NO...

      Coz I am not harming anyone but just saving my money from being lost...

        No point in arguing it here - the only answer that counts is from Amazon.

        He probably said "no" because your suggested method is dishonest in mixing your info with your friend's.

        And if you have to ask this question:

        and give my friend's Bank Name, Routing Number and Account Number.
        It would seem you have an inkling to the correct answer already.

            Some Screen Shots I want show you first..

            They know there is no chance for US bank Account IN Pakistan .. then why Amazon gives Us (Pakistani Publisher), the option of EFT...

            Like when we select any country other than 'US', then the option of 'States' is automatically removed...

            Then why not in this case, when I entered Pakistan and the option of 'States' is removed... then why EFT option is not removed....

            Any thoughts???

    Hey Kindleboypak,

    I dont see kindle providing a solution for you or advice, well maybe advice which would be, fly to US and open an account yourself.

    Its a lot of responsibility to place on your friend.

    I am from the UK and I have opened a US bank account and merchant domestic account. I too publish on kindle I just use my US business name and bank account.

    I suggest you form your own business entity then open a bank account which can be done because i have done it from my home, regardless of peoples thoughts and skepticism.

    You can find a state where you wont need to pay any taxs and franchise tax virtually nothing per-year.
