What happens when you follow someone else?

I know there is going to be 2 sides the the argument. We all buy products and we all follow advice. Especially when starting, it would be kinda silly to not follow tried and tested techniques...

...but does everyone want to be the same as everyone else. It makes sense to be unique. OK, you might not hit the sweet spot ever time, but when you do, nobody will be in your way.

I get the feeling that to many warriors only care about copying others, whether it's:

1. Going for $100+ Amazon products, using the same theme, product domain names, etc... just because the Amazon guru's do it.

2. Using PLR for blogs

3. Clone sites

You get the idea.

Obviously, there are certain paths to follow, but sooner or later - if an individual warrior wants to stand out - they are going to have to start using their initiative and do they're own things.

It might be good to have this in mind. If you have it in your mind, you will constantly think of new ways how you can break free from the norm.

Who knows; maybe you do.

  • Following successful people is smart. The trick is to follow the right person and then personalize their methods to fit with your own mojo.

    So far, I've started making the most money when I've thrown caution to the winds and done things *my way* (my particular way, mind you, is creating quality WSOs rather often and building me list this way).

    I've tried different things...but they just weren't *me*, yknow what I'm saying?

    To be successful, you have to be content with whom you see in the mirror at the end of the day.

    Live life like *that*...and yep, no regrets.

  • Right, but then its only a matter of time before people start trying to copy that too.

    lol I dont see why people cant just be their own person.. come up with something original man. People need to realize that NOTHING works exactly the same for everyone.

  • Getting a mentor is always great. Remember someone else always know better than that person. I think you should just follow with you gut and get into something you like and not hop around too much like i did in the beginning. Take action and stick with it!
