I don't actively focus on driving traffic to my posts - when I make a comment on another blog, I'll sometimes put the link from my most recent post in it.

Get in with a community in your niche and start reading other blogs - you would be surprised at how supportive other bloggers are.

And, it's targeted traffic you want, so make sure you're in with the right crowd for your niche -

Writing keyword rich blog posts focusing on longtail keywords is without a doubt one of the best traffic generation strategies on the planet. I think it is VERY important to write posts for both search engines & humans...and trust me you can do both!

Here are a few places where you can find potential blog topics/questions to tackle within your niche market:

    ezinearticles.com
    answers.yahoo.com
    articlesbase.com
    slideshare.net
    youtube.com
    Google blog search
    etc...

These are just a few of literally hundreds of places where you can find some great longtail keywords & topics to formulate posts around.

  • Hi Nadal619,

There are actually a few steps I've tested and proven to drive traffic to a site or blog. Some of these are free, while a few are paid campaigns:

    1. MyBlogGuest.Com - This is an online community where content authors can offer content to owners of sites and blogs seeking to populate their sites/blogs with relevant content useful for their target audiences, in exchange for banner and text links pointing to your target URLs. You should offer your content to owners of blogs/sites with content that's relevant to your target niches and keywords. Some of them will accept content that's already published in other places, as long as you own full exclusive rights to the content, while a few will only accept content that has yet to be published anywhere else, and they'll require the content to only be published on their sites/blogs and nowhere else. Of course, you're better off with those who accept content that's already published on your own sites/blogs and in your content syndication networks, but of course: Weigh the benefits you can gain from also having unique content published on the sites/blogs of owners who only accept content that's exclusive to them...

    2. You can directly contact other blog/site owners to offer them content in exchange for banner and text links pointing to your pages. ADVICE: Google your target keywords. Study the top ranking pages. Are they under blogs/sites offering content that's relevant to your target niches? Do they have a good volume of subscribers and viewers? Are those sites/blogs included in a good blog/site network community?

    3. Paid CPC and CPM campaigns in sites/blogs mentioned in numbers 1 and 2...

    4. Paid solo mailing list campaigns with mailing list owners who have a good volume of subscribers interested in your target niches...

    5. Paid CPC campaigns with search advertising networks like Google. You can get free Google Adwords credits by registering domains and a hosting account -- Some domain registrars and hosting companies offer this. Say you purchase a cheap domain for $2 and cheap hosting for $10/month from a company offering $75 free Google Adwords credits if you purchase from them. That's $63 x 10 domains and hosting accounts = $630 free Google Adwords credits! ADVICE: You can start out with one domain and a hosting account. $12, to get $63 free Google Adwords credits -- This is on top of the $12 which you used to purchase the domain and hosting account, which would also be Google Adwords credits, and you get $75 Google Adwords credits, a domain and hosting for $12! Use this to test out which of your CPC ads will provide you with the best benefits...

    6. Paid CPC Facebook and LinkedIn advertising campaigns. See if there are offers where you get free FB or LinkedIn CPC credits bundled with your purchases...

    7. Develop an info product or an SAS (Software As Service) and offer 100% commissions to affiliates. Do the things above to promote your product to interested affiliates. You get buyer traffic to populate your mailing lists...

    8. You can implement free and paid offline advertising campaigns. Flyers. Posters. Magazine and other print ads. Classified ads. Radio ads. TV ads. Newsletters to social groups and communities. And so on. If you aren't in any of your target countries, then you can outsource this to providers based in any of your target countries...

    Hope this helps...

Whether you're writing a product review or an article, your aim should be to get ranked in the search engines so you can get traffic from both. I write my product reviews on pages and my articles on posts. If you go to my main page, you will see my latest articles. I have various tabs on my homepage -- one of which list all the reviews I've done. My individual posts get traffic just like my product review pages. You should also be writing articles on topics that you can link to specific product reviews so that you can do some internal link building.

    Good luck,
    Joey

You should drive traffic to your money pages with a bit of traffic to the other pages.

Think of each page as a separate entity and yet all joined together. What pages make you money? Drive traffic to those. If none make you money yet, then create some "buying keyword" pages to make money. And drive the traffic to them.

    2. News Sites like stumbleupon & digg
    3. Article Marketing
    4. Press Release
    5. Get yourself a free $50 voucher for signing up to adwords. If you pay 1p for your bids thats a lot of extra free traffic thats generally targeted

    Hai,
    There are number ways.
    1) optimize your site for google
    2) Write articles (for eg. Ezine articles)
    3) submit your site to directories
    4)Join social networking sites
    and so on.

Of course there are a lot of ways to do it:

    1) Create a Facebook Fan Page and promote it on your personal account
    2) Create and submit video for youtube
    3) Social networking websites
    4) Articles directories
    5) Write your post keeping SEO in mind, make a keywords research if it's needed.

Outsource some tasks if you can, it's the best way.

Also, focus yourself only on the main services online, there are many and you risk losing your mind if you want to use them all (here's why you should outsource them).

    Hope that helps.

You should for each of the pages, but also create sort of primary KW and seconday keywords built in to the content, then the seconday keywords should become the primary keyword of another page... so there is enough interlinking naturally among the pages and yes since each page is ranked go for the individual page

If you are on a budget then these free web traffic strategies are the best ways to drive traffic to your website or blog as quickly and easily as possible.

Blogging, social syndication, and consistent action are at the core of these best free web traffic strategies.

It is what I use and get taught to do as part of the viral blogging platform that is Empower Network. (You get your own turnkey blog with recurring monthly affiliate products to promote).

    * Facebook Traffic - Facebook is a goldmine of free website traffic. All you have to do is go to a relevant Facebook Group and post a link to your blog post and people will check it out. Many people are put of by this because many groups have so many spammy looking links and adverts in them. But if you take the time to find a quality group that moderates spam then you can simply post a link to your post.

The key with Facebook web traffic marketing is to write an interesting blog post that teaches the reader something and then approach the Group by saying you thought your blog post will help others in that Group. Also ask questions about what people think in terms of your blog post. Including video in the post is another way to increase Facebook web traffic.

    * Twitter Traffic - This free web traffic strategy does not rely on you having many Twitter followers. As part of this best free web traffic tip, simply post a link to your blog post in Twitter but use hashtags to have the Twitter search engine associate your tweet with relevant keywords. Many Twitter users request to be notified when a tweet comes in containing phrases they are interested in. So use you hashtags (#InternetMarketing, #Business etc.) wisely. Also specifically request that people re-tweet your links to increase chances of viral syndication.

    * TribePro - This social bookmarking service is like Ping.FM but taken to the next level. For every link you post, it will be shared via the social media accounts of many other marketers. This will create social backlinks from real accounts and varied IP address on autopilot, in addition to generating highly targeted traffic from these posts.

These simple free web traffic strategies can be very lucrative if you are promoting the right offer (as opposed to $10 ebooks!).

I send all my web traffic to my Empower Network page, because sales result in monthly recurring commissions and commissions of up to $1,000.

So much less sales are needed to make good money for the month.

According to the official stats, all affiliates that are making just two basic level sales of $25 per day are making $30,000 a month after around 60 days or so.

I am not at that level of earnings yet, but have got off to a quick start and have posted my latest screenshot proof and my video review below..

theres a few things which i do and they are as follows:

    1. create link bait - high quality in depth content which others will want to link to

    2. I use rapportive.com - it connects all of your social networks together and i also share my new posts with all my followers, then its just a case of increasing your social following to get more traffic and exposure to your new blog posts

    3. I often send my list to my new posts - this works well and your posts will get shared a lot more by doing this creating you even more traffic

    4. Leave quality blog comments - I do this on other blogs, this attracts some traffic and also brands my blog

    5. I have a link to my blog in my wf sig - this works well because a lot of folks always like to learn more about IM and my blog is a great place to learn

these are just 5 ways which i use

Regardless whether its in the main page or not its still traffic, try to make the article useful so that you would create circle of regular visitor, try to be present on different social networks as well so that it wont be long before word of mouth escalate and drive more traffic.

Well, I would not like my "Unique Posts" being copied without my prior permission. So I must say a no to submitting your blog posts to article directories.
The best is to keep it simple:
Do social sharing, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit and Social Bookmarking. You must focus on increasing the number of subscribers.

For me, the most important aspects of building a thriving blog that now drives 75% of all traffic to our different product pages are:

    1. Consistent and interesting posts. I found blogging less than once a week was far less effective than blogging at least 3-4 times each week. While # of posts isn't everything, it is a major factor in how quickly your content is indexed, how much influence your blog is scene to have by other bloggers (who may reference you) and to get first-time visitors coming back

    2. The artform of getting participation is hugely important to rankings. I have blog posts that get hundreds and hundreds of comments and stay very high in the search rankings because of that...which in turn...feeds more traffic and more comments.

    3. Social bookmarking (twitter, facebook, reddit, Digg, Google+) do help your content rank and expand visibility across your various networks - this can lead to lots more traffic if you do social networking correctly

    4. SEO - knowing your markets keywords that not only get the search volume, but that create the interest and activity you want is very important. You can get some of this from researching other top sites, from looking at top selling products in your niche...then the rest is close testing and monitoring of your logs to see what works and what doesn't work as well

Among bloggers community there are a lot of stories about how bloggers drive traffic through guest blogging. I think that you should engage more with your blog competitors in your niche and ask them if you can make a blog post on their blogs.
Also try blog commenting. Maybe it is the best option to create links to your home page firstly. If you had something to say and provide value you can gain loyal subscribers.

Back-Linking is the best method to bring traffic to your blog after the recent Penguin update earlier last year. The more back-links, the more traffic driven to your site! More traffic = More $$$

    1. Content Syndication

    3. Sponsoring WordPress Themes
    4. Article Directories

    10. Interviews
    11. Social Networking

I recommend using diversification while building your back-links, so when Google eventually indexes your site they will give you a higher index after noticing a variety of back-links from different sources, increasing your search engine traffic overall.

I've written a massive guides on Back-Linking and Free Traffic Systems, you might want to check that out for a more in-depth explanation on Internet Marketing.

Facebook and Twitter really works for me. I have run many tests and really saw that a large amount of traffic after a blog post i made, was from Facebook.

If the post is really interesting, it shouldn't take long to go viral.

I also use Twitter which also brings me a good amount of traffic.

Thing is it took me some time to build my Facebook friends and fans community but it really worth it at the end.

Hi. Though it's easy to create or build a blog, it is very difficult to build a successful blog and generate a good amount of traffic to it. So here's my tip:

    1. Content should be high quality and interesting to read. It also should be SEO friendly.

    2. Content should be targeted to an audience who has the ability in spreading the word.

    3. Well-designed blog site.

    4. Make sure to participate in communities (blogs, social media, etc.) where your target audience is.

    5. Find new connections through networking sites twitter, facebook, and etc.

    6. Guest blog. Also make sure to accept guest posts from other bloggers.

    For blogs these will work

    1. Regularly commenting on other niche blogs
    2. Guest posting on their blogs
    3. Bookmarking
    4. Getting links form high quality sites
    5. Posting frequently on your blog.

Is it just me, or do some of these tips from last year seem so "last year?" I am still reeling from changes to SEO strategies, some of the first-page techniques seem outdated?

It is best to drive traffic to the main page of the blog so that they can start from the beginning. However, you can also drive traffic to individual posts as well by using various means such as article marketing, audio and video marketing, or using the power of someone else's list and so much more.

There are other ways to drive traffic such as through the Warrior Forum and other forms that are related to your niche. You can even use things like press releases to drive traffic, build your own list to drive traffic, create a free information product to give away and submit it to the many giveaway events that are on the Internet.

The possibilities for driving quality traffic are virtually endless. Just use the ones that you know will work and give you solid results. Even using things like Facebook and Twitter can't hurt either.
