Can I Close My Flippa Account?

I'm having some difficulties with flippa and had newbie site buyers leave me negative feedback. I'm wondering if it's possible to close flippa accounts?

Sure, you can close your account. But that doesn't mean you can open a new one.

If you're getting negative feedback, figure out the reason for it and change your ways.

If the feedback is unjustified, speak to Flippa support and they will remove it for you.

I just did a Google search for flippa close account and I found an article with this snippet:

For security and data integrity requirements, Flippa accounts cannot be deleted or closed. You are welcome to create a new account under a new username if required, but please be aware that under Flippa's Terms & Conditions at http://flippa.com/termsandconditions, users are not to operate simultaneous multiple accounts. Kind Regards, Flippa Customer Support.
I'm not sure if they have changed their TOS since then, so I would still try and contact Flippa's Customer Support.

You can't actually close a flippa account but you can have your negative comments removed which I'm sure are not from newbies but from your competitors.

As other Warriors have said, the easiest way to fix such an issue is to contact Flippa support to remove the unjustified feedback.

Flippa must have changed their policy since then, you're only allowed to operate one Flippa account.

Exactly, you cannot close an account and if you try opening a second one they will connect accounts somehow based solely on IP Address I believe.

Ophelie from Flippa here -- we don't close accounts because they have received bad feedback.

When someone receives bad feedback, we recommend that you contact the buyer and solve the issue. If both parties are then happy with the situation, we can remove the negative feedback.

If you simply open another Flippa account, the two will be linked. If there are any outstanding success fees or other issues with the older account, both accounts will be suspended.

Hey awesome786 --It is, indeed, against our rules for one user to have several accounts. If we know that a user has more than one account, and all are in good standing, we offer to close down the superfluous account.

We don't typically allow username changes, but send me an email or PM if you have a specific request.

Hi OLechat Thanks for your quick answer.I have few more questions to ask you and discuss with you.How flippa can understand or depending on what flippa link up multiple accounts?Because here I am using broadband connection and this ISP has more than 250 line unders one real IP so within these 250 connection may be 2o people will have flippa account. It's not a issue for me I actually didn't understand this matter so i asked you.

At present i don't have any specific request for username change I was just curious about that.

I'm facing one problem that is I can't buy flippa credits using my paypal or can't pay listing fee using my paypal account but I don't know the reason so i would like to know why this is hapenning?

How many days is allowed by flippa to post a feedback after closing the auction?

When you get free time please try to reply back. Thanks

There won't be an issue with the situation you describe with your ISP.

Users have 60 days to leave feedback once the sale concludes, so there's no need to rush into leaving feedback post-transaction.

As for your other questions, that's something we'd need to see your account to help you with. Have you visited support.flippa.com to see if we can help?
