Google+ Brand Page vs FaceBook Fan Page

Like FaceBook, Google+ has also introduced a feature to promote your website called Brand Page. What do you think about it in terms of promotion?

  • Great question, and thanks for the link, Limerickbob. If Google's pages are as big as everything else they do, one must get on the bus, or they will be under it. I smell a mess with the +1s, but Google will probably find a way to sidestep this.

    • That's right but lets face the facts, launched in 2004 Facebook came to fame in 2007 & 2008 witnessed a rapid boost for Facebook. Whereas Google grabbed 24 million users in just 3 months. Although Facebook has become everyday addiction that any social network would require years of practice to surpass Facebook.

  • At the moment, Facebook is the king of social websites. On the other hand Google has an extremely extended database of users and could attract them to Google+.
    But just for now, you will clearly get better results with promotion on FB.
