Question about aweber

I tried to find the answer from aweber and this forum but didn't find it quickly.

So, if I buy the trial which only let's me have 500 subscribers, what happens if it goes full and I don't notice it? People can't opt-in or does it somehow hold the opt-ins and let me have them when I upgrade? Or what?

I'm asking because I got an idea that might easily give me 1k ore more opt-ins overnight or it might not give me anything. So I wouldn't want to pay for higher subs in advance but neither would I want people to be unable to opt-in.

  • the 1$ trial lasts one moth, you will be paying 20 the next month, and you can have as many subscribers as possible..
  • Unless they changed things - Aweber gives you the first month for $1.00 After that you pay according to the amount of subscribers you have.

    Instead of just worrying about a few dollars just go for it if you are serious about it.

    Best of luck.
  • Good move using Aweber. Don't worry about the $20 a month just pay for the year and get working on it!!!
  • They should give you a notice. Just like everyone said, $1 the first then $20 every month. Once you surpass their limits, the monthly will increase as well. I'm pretty sure you'll be getting a confirmation email first though.
  • Okay, thanks for the answers!

    A new question just popped in my mind though and I'll just ask it here also;

    When the limit is 500 subscribers, will this be for the total amount, or for every list I have? So could I have 3 lists of 300 subscribers or would I need to upgrade? (I'm going into 2 or 3 niches kinda same time so I'll be creating different lists anyways, not trying to cheat the system )

    I'm pretty positive that it's the total number of subsribers that counts but wanted to confirm
  • It's the total number of subscribers on all your lists.

    But, as the others have said, just pay the year's fee up front (it's cheaper pro rata that way) and start your business.
