Paypal Alternative That Doesn't Suck? (for NON USA Business)

...looking for some kind of payment solution that doesn't suck...

...meaning reasonable rates!

They pay on time.

They don't hold your money for ridiculous reasons.

They're freakin honest (is that too much to ask)?

And easy to deal with. They don't have a bunch of hoops to jump through to setup and maintain the account.

Any recommends?

PS this is for an internet biz not based in the United States.

It seems that Internet Business and reasonable payment processor don't often fall in the same sentence. Internet businesses usually have a higher risk than brick and mortar and for that reason payment processors will always be a lot more scrupulous than their offline counterparts.

Your best bet is going to be a merchant account of some sort.

    Hey Mirnova,

I had many problems with PayPal..

the alternatives that I used were AlertPay, Plimus and 2CO.

To be honest, I don't recommend Alertpay, they never paid me, Plimus is good but pay monthly, 2CO is the best one I use, they pay on time, every week, only downside is that fees are slightly high for each transaction and there is a $49 application fee.
    Clickbank is also another one.
These payment processors are based in the US, but can be used international..

MoneyBookers(Skril) is the best option for non-US sites, however there are a bunch of hoops to jump through to get approved as a merchant without monthly limits, easy enough if you don't mind the $15k or so monthly limit.

    MoneyBookers (Now Skrill)
    Alertpay

I have used all above and have no regrets found yet.....

But you must check your self the service that doesn't give you a "Powered By ATM Card" like Payoneer..... Its good but not always in term of charges....

    Regards!

why not start one and we will use your services, that way all internet marketers will be happy that an internet payment process is started by an internet marketer who will know and understand IM. =)

But i agree with the earlier post, IM transactions are more easy to fraud, so regulations are stricter.
Cant run away from that fac.t.

Nochex is a good PayPal alternative if you're in the UK and sell in GBP.

I used Moneybookers and they were good. I could easily get paid from other Moneybookers account holders and withdraw the fund directly to my bank for a low fee.

My vote goes to Moneybookers too. Never had any problems with them and if paypal wasn't the top choice of everyone, I would definitely be using them.

You have to go with the payment service that your customers like to use or you will be chasing off customers. Ultimately they decide - go with an off beat service and that's going to cost you more money in the long run.
