That feels GREAT!

I thought i would let you know about a CB policy that you mite run into...
You have to have 5 sells from 5 different credit card numbers before you can recieve your first check... They do this so people dont buy products from there own link and get a discount on the product.

I dont promote many CB products, but i put a video on youtube a had 2 sells, about 1 month later i was trying to think why i had not recieved my check... I contacted CB support and they told me this was the case.

I thought i would let you know so you dont run into the same frustration!

GREAT job on the sale!

Yeah the CB rule about a min of 5 sales from 5 different CC with at least one being a Visa was an eye opener. Also, if some of your customers use paypal, it doesn't count toward the 5 minimum. I made 4 sales in July totaling $206 and couldn't understand why I had not received a check yet and this was the reason why.

CB needs to come up with a better system for tracking cheaters like comparing ip addresses or something. That rule is worse than those 1 up or 2 up businesses where you lose your first 2 sales to your upline.

I'm not sure where those sales came from. One came in before I wrote an article on ezinearticles. Then the other 3 came after the article. I also post daily on 2 forums and receive a lot of click thrus so I'm not sure which method was responsible for the sales.

I remove the link from my sig line here and in the other forum to see if I can pinpoint where the sales came from so I can repeat them. I think I'll start by writing another article to see what happens and let you guys know how it goes.

Congratulations to you - I remember my first sale with clickbank, it felt so good.

Unfortunately I didn't get that many more and I did fall foul of the 5 payment, not paypal rule.

The other thing I found about that was, if you then have a certain amount of time where you don't get any more sales, you start being charged a percentage and CC took those payments from the money on sales sitting in my account, which eventually ate it up then the charges were taken from my MC.

As I switched directions because I knew I was not good at selling CB stuff and couldn't afford to have payments taken from my MC I eventually had to cancel my account with CB.

I did that a month ago and this last week I noticed the same £13.01 charge taken by CB on my MC - not very happy as I had already had the cancellation email from them the previous month, HOWEVER their customer service was very good and fast and when I emailed in about it this week, I received an email telling me the charge would be refunded and that this would properly cancel any future payments.

Sorry to put a downer on your success though, not my intention, just want to make sure you and others have fully read up on how CB works so you don't lose the money you earned.

Take the advise these guys have given you and run with it, you will do great and I wish you much good fortune

I'm sitting on some clickbank money through some FB ads, but can't get it because all my sales end up being paypal. It's really frustrating.

How much was the CB item you were selling? Reason I ask is because a few people I know keep around $50 bucks or less in their paypal account to make online purchases. If you sale a product that's $100, maybe it will weed out the PP people.

This makes me curious about something. After you have 5 sales/5 cc, do you have to make another set of 5 sales before getting paid the second time or is this just a one time thing? If I have to do 5 more sales, I might have to move on to something else outside of CB, or start paying for advertisement to get more exposure. Just a thought.

The feeling of that first sale is like you just made a million dollars. It did take me a month and a half to receive my first clickbank check so don't freak when it doesn't come in immediatly. You must get that traffic going so you don't lose any momentum.

You should have called me man!

This is a kid I met during my stint at college, briefly introduced him to the basics, and he's already done a lot (hes a very accomplished writer, does great work, but you can ask him about that!).
